Disappointing game, especially with regards to the next game. Losing AD hurts a lot.
We still have Lebron, and we need to play Gasol more I think.
KCP hopefully will be back for the next one, we need his defensive punch and hopefully he shoots more like he did last year in the playoffs.
Hopefully the officiating is better in the next game. This one was really frustrating to watch with how obviously uneven it was. |

Turned off tv went radio. Sounded like we had our chances but...just not a year where team has been getting many breaks, and they dont often take advantage of those that are available. |
I think the absence of AD and also KCP is an issue for us, but in these 2 losses we’ve also been really outworked.
We can still win this series even without AD, but it’s gonna take harder work than this BS we’ve seen today.

Lebron's number look a lot better than his actual game and effort did. He needed to step up when AD went out but he basically coasted for the entire third quarter and a lot of the fourth. Pretty disappointing.
Also, (bleep) chris paul and his praying family. |

AD is like the talented but unreliable employee. I don't want to bring into next year's playoff. I don't want to take chances. If possible, I would trade him this offseason. Reliability is kinda important.

| Our shooters have really sucked in this series, no AD no bueno ...both at the same time it’s going to be a mess ....Lakers are going to have to find a way to bring in a third star this summer |

Rough game. Phoenix did what they needed to do and got the split.
Series outlook is not good unless AD is okay. |

We wanted the game but did not play with the desperation of 100% focus. But with how the game went today, I am pretty damn sure you will see a completely focused Laker team come Game 5 |

Are you? The Lakers didn’t play desperate until the 4th quarter. Suddenly the turnovers stopped and we were focused. The Suns were the more desperate team. |

The careless turnovers in the first half say otherwise. AD was going through the motions and I only noticed Schroder twice, a made three and that blown layup. Disappointing effort all around. |

| I actually feel we will be fine even without AD. You saw glimpses in the last few minutes of how we can be defensively if we are focused. AD primary value is defense and secondary value is drawing fouls. We can especially do without his isolations. What this really means is Lebron will go all out next game with no security blanket. Get ready for a monster Lebron game |

Lakers lose 100-92
lakers got up 11 in the second then watched the suns take control of the game as they pushed pace. Lakers didnt help themselves with really sloppy unforced turnovers. Down 4 at half.
AD did not return in the second half - groin issue. Suns proceeded to open up a 16 point lead as the Lakers just collapsed in the third.
Team made it interesting in the 4th - but no more than the suns did last game. In fact you could probably say game 4 was the same as game 3, excepr suns won.
Bottomline: hard to win shooting under 40% from the field and missing open shots. Also hard to win when you have lots of unforced turnovers.
With or without AD the team can win this if they just execute better. Today they didnt. Now its best of 3 as suns take back homecourt.

Even before losing AD, we did not come out playing the right way this game. Jacking 3s, and forgetting what made us successful in Games 2 and 3.
Hopefully AD is good to go for Game 5, but regardless, we need to come out with some fire and passion, and stick to the game plan.
This team can still beat Phoenix without AD. |

I wouldnt be so sure. These guys have championship DNA and will be ready. If it was a young inexperienced team or a team with chokers I would be worried but I am not worried with this Lakers team. We did not go all out until the end. Game 5 will be different. They will get our best shot |

Without AD, it would be like an open house on defense. No one on our team could replicate his defensive tenacity. The semi-comeback at the end was nice but I don't think we could win another game without AD.
It's not because we need AD. It's because we don't have a viable replacement for him. Lebron could score 60 points but if we can't stop Phoenix, aka Ayton from scoring 70 points, we're not gonna win.
