So what are the chances that both Reaves and Joel make the roster day 1?

well they're 2way contracts... so I believe they're locked into the organization. I'd say a good chance that at least 1 gets his contract fully guaranteed. these guys can hoop

Report: Austin Reaves turned down the ability to get drafted in order to sign with the Lakers as an undrafted free agent

You can do that?

Those teams may have been requesting he sign a 2-way contract and he could have declined their request forcing them to offer at the minimum a standard 2 year contract. The team needs to decide if they wanted to risk losing him if they cut him in training camp. They could still draft him regardless.

A guy I would like to see the Lakers go out and grab is Derek Culver (WVU). I have not seen him sign anywhere, and I honestly think there is a chance he could make the roster as an athletic big man @ the end of the bench with a little upside.

Interesting, so they talk about it before drafting a player?

Cacock has good size to be a SF...pushing it a PF and very
undersized C. I was looking for some actual size, reach, jump....

Summer league is eye refresh, nothing more. Reaves & Ayayi have
some potential to go beyond Summer or G-League if they progress &
get stronger. I was looking for some size to go along with them; guess
not.

Vrenz tweeted that it's against the rules for him to sign a non-guaranteed contract because of his contract in Europe. Since he wasn't drafted he seemingly can't try out for an NBA team until that ends.

Is there a free agent right now that was considered the one of the best college basketball players from 2016-2020 the Lakers can look for? Or are they already all signed with a pro team overseas?

Same as discussing with international players if they are willing to be a draft and stash. Celtics wanted to draft Zubac but he refused to be a stash so they drafted Zicic instead who came over the following year. Celtics also did 2ways with their draft picks like Tremont Waters.

I wouldn't say one of the best college players but I could see the Lakers sign Terrance Ferguson who was drafted in 2017 with the 21st pick. I believe he is a FA and also a Klutch client.
