Good performances by both of them, but not really noteworthy given the scoring and pace inflation. Kobe and Shaq did it when teams were putting up 95 ppg.

Different pace, plus Pau never hit those marks because he played inside the three point line, even though he was super consistent and dominant in the post. He started shooting 3s in his late 30s when he played for Chicago, so he retired before it became a thing for him.
