Yep. Doubt it does.
But maybe Counter Strike had a good feeling about Ben. _________________ ππ π π π #18!!! |

If it's leaked, it likely doesn't happen.
We heard 0 about Dennis, Trezz last offseason.
I think Rob assassinates those who leak from his front office. |

Iβm guessing this was conversations in May/June.
This is probably a good indication that Sac is not serious about dealing with the Lakers. If they were, they would have stayed quiet like Presti in OKC with the Schroder/DG trade.
Stay Petty Sac. These organizations that are focused on the wrong thingβ¦smh they wonder why they never succeed lol. |

Or it could just be the Lakers trying to raise interest for Kuz. _________________ ππ π π π #18!!! |

I think all of this hinges on Trezz.
1. whether he opts in.
2. whether he is ok with being Sacto, b/c he has de facto veto powers.
If he doesn't opt in, Hield is pretty much unlikely IMO. |

Is there a world where the Kings take Trezz + Kuz for Buddy straight up, without picks? Assuming Harrell opts in of course

Is that true? B/c if we trade him, doesn't he lose his early Bird rights (and a reason why he gets veto powers). |

And struggles in starting lineups instead of being a top option off the bench. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

i take it dennis for buddy is a non starter? that would be ideal. gets him out of our hair and the salaries match up for the most part (S&T) |

Yeah Yinoma, it really makes no sense...hopefully they address it in 2024 when they rework the CBA. But if Trez opts in, he does not have veto power, even though heβs working on early bird rights with us.
However if he opts out with the understanding that he gets a nonbird raise in pay at 11.2m on a 1+1 (player or team option), he gets a NTC built into that deal...canβt be traded till December tho.
If he opts out and agrees to a S&t (which canβt be a 1+1 format since itβs mandated they be a minimum of 3 yrs with only yr 1 fully guaranteed, I donβt believe he gets NTC rights in that type of construct, but correct me if Iβm wrong. He can however still start off at 11.2m.
So it could potentially be Kuz/Trez(opt-in) that brings in a max of 28.5m in salary VS Kuz/Trez (S&t) which could bring in a max of 30.4m in salary. _________________ Not familiar with the salary cap/CBA rules & how it impacts our Lakers?

Quote: | Hield's Perimeter Shooting talent grade and 3PT Shot Making rating last season would've been the best marks for the Lakers any season in our 2013-21 database.
He's a caliber of 3-point shooter we haven't seen in LA. |

So he's not gonna get 10 3pt attempts a game for us.
Maybe 6? Wonder how it'll affect his %. _________________ ππ π π π #18!!! |

No doubt he would feast on 3s here. But what would it take to trade for him, and does having basically 2 SGs who do not playmake put too much of a creation burden on LBJ as he heads into age 36-37 NBA season. |

I might be a minority, but I don't feel Hield is worth trading Kuz/Trez/#22 for.
I rather have Barnes, he is more versatile, better defender and can create his own shot. |
