They may be haggling over the pick?

I don't want Westbrook regardless, but at least keep the pick if you have to make this horrible move.

Lets watch the rest of the dominoes fall before chastising the trade and I think quite a bit of you are underestimating Westbrook.

This is a move that shouts "We demand to be last in the league in three-point percentage!"

We just acquired the worst shooter in NBA history who also happens to never play defense so he can stat pad rebounds, who also happens to have zero basketball IQ. Other than that this is a great trade.

I love it!

Haven’t seen a dog with bite in Laker P&G since Kob. This guy is going to be ferocious showing out for his home team.

And iffff it don’t work, that’s almost 55.5m in trade ballast that we can flip.

But Russ should work here with Bron/AD....Why Not?

Takes a lot of play making burden off of Lebron, but where will the outside shooting come from?

Am I right in assuming no DS back, so is your off guard going to be THT?

Who knows? The Lakers could still resign DS or use him in a sign and trade. They could also ship THT out in a deal for a shooting guard.

We’ll see what else unfolds, Pelinka isn’t done yet.

i don't know what to think. i think giving up KCP is bad. i'd rather it was DS sign and trade, plus kuz... maybe a pick if necessary.

as far as losing out on buddy. either it just wasn't happening or Rob has something up his sleeve.. like DS for buddy. which i seriously hope is the plan. everyone would eat their words if your backcourt became Brodie and Buddy.

Idk how some of y’all can’t be happy about this. Russel made the wizards contenders. Imagine what he can do around Bron and AD.

Not to mention we traded 3 players that had zero impact in the playoffs last season.

This is a huge win.

Once again glad Pelinka is the GM and not the guys on LG

If it's not working out around the trading deadline, then we can flip Russ for Dame.

LOL, Lebron and AD were hanging out with Westbrook in the offseason. If some of you guys don’t like this trade, then direct your complaints towards Lebron and AD.

oh, without a doubt it was AD and Bron saying "Russ, wanna play with us? yeah? okay, please hold"

"Rob, Brodie wants to be a laker. make it happen!"

end of story. let's just hope AD and LBJ know what's best for them.
