Could we be in the last hours of the Westbrook era?

Let it be... let it be.

As the situation changes quickly, would the Nets accept Westbrook+ one 1st rounder for Irving+ one unwanted contract? With Durant asking out, the Nets do not need to worry about pairing Durant and Westbrook.

Irving has zero trade value for most teams while Westbrook has negative value. Just need to find a way to balance it. The Nets have limited trade options with Irving making it clear he wants the Lakers. Sure they could keep him for one year. Is it much better than having Westbrook for one year?

The formula of LBJ+ Irving worked before. LBJ+ AD worked before. If the Lakers want another try of big three, and they have always valued talent first, at least there are proven results to back up the thinking.

I still think the lack of depth will prevent them from contention, but it's worth a try.

LG people said no picks for the nets.

If they end up deciding to trade KD as well i'd be down for giving them a pick to just get it done if they included Curry, Mills or Harris who all are 30+ and on deals past this upcoming Season which wouldn't be nearly as attractive to them if they were blowing it up and looking to rebuild.

Honestly send me some of the stuff you're smoking. Why would Brooklyn even think about Westbrick? KD is worth LBJ, AD and that may not be enough.

3 team trade may get it done. At this point Brooklyn needs to at least not be horrendously bad while preparing for a rebuild. Perhaps this is where Charlotte can help. Then again the Bridges fiasco may mess that up a bit.

I'll pick him up at Newark or La Guardia and take him to the Nets.

No way they want to start the season with Russ.

This is the 2nd time in a week's span that they've probably entered into deep negotiations with the Nets.

Russ knows the handwriting's on the wall.

People said that he can't be benched b/c he will be unhappy and pout. Well, how about now, after the Lakers have publicly engaged in 2 Kyrie trade talks.

No way we spent our MMLE on Lonnie, keeping THT and Russ. That is a horrific rotation of non-shooters. A Kyrie trade seems pretty realistic now and I can see both THT/Russ exiting.

Just in case, keep working on your defense Russ
Btw, I'm hoping LW's 3 point shooting comes back to 40% on c&s.

I really hope so cause I’m sick of both of those players

You think that what Phoenix can offer is better than an AD/Russ/picks package...and I'm the one that's smoking something?

What’s the point of doing that if Klutch/LBJ/AD aren’t on board?
