I don’t mind him coming back, I felt really bad for him when he didn’t reach his goal of winning a title, only in a limited role though. |

I actually mind him coming back. He would be taking time away from the younger players and he isn't as dynamic at this point of his career. He really only shoots, while being old as hell. |

You don't think he can be a situational player who doesn't play regular rotation minutes but is brought on for specific situations against specific opponents? (And the rest of the time serves as a mentor/cheerleader and practice fixture like Dudley) |

He’s old, slow, and can’t defend anyone. We have too many holes as a team to use a roster spot on a cheerleader. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

If James or Davis have extended stretches out due to injury again, I agree with you that Melo could find a situational role again.
But if not, the team needs every young energetic role player they can get to work on defense, rebound and run the floor. The team is Big 3 top heavy by design. But they need the role players to contribute more then as a situational scorer. Would rather see Johnson, Gabriel, or another young forward get those limited mpg opportunities and that deep roster spot.
To be fair. I am not a big fan of Anthony. But I thought he did a pretty good job last year. He was asked to do much more then expected. His playing center was ridiculous! Yet at times he surprisingly showed some wily vet defense. Not enough to want him back but more then I expected. |

I agree on the "holes" part. And I agree he is not a rotational player any more.
But then a single #14/#15 roster spot at the min/vet-min has little chance of filling those holes either - with or without Melo we're not a deep playoff team. |

Fair enough. You would rather have reliable rotational defensive minutes than a situational offensive player in Melo. I can see this point. |

Anthony is one of the few players that brings gravity to the floor. His inclusion is problematic because it means less minutes for Swider, Gabriel(who seems to be a better two-way fit) and maybe even JTA.
I would consider adding him back at the end of our moves if we feel we need him. _________________ Kyrie in 23 |

Warriors are interested in Carmelo is the rumor and are looking at potentially acquiring him.
If they do, he'll very likely finally get his ring. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:
