wait so getting rid of our best guard defenders in Caruso and KCP and replacing them with a bunch of offense-first players will kill our defense???? _________________ (bleep) Kawhi
I get it this is a preseason game and there is no need to put too much emphasis on it, but can we take it serious and at least let guys get used to offensive and defensive schemes? Guys show low effort and it doesn’t seem like there is much testing going on. They play like some street pick up game that randomly put five guys together.
There is no excuse to get blow out in that magnitude when team’s stars aren’t playing major minutes. What a shame.
I mean the team's best players have to play. They're missing a 3, a 4, and an all-time playmaker in Russ. Without Lebron and Dwight they're playing 4 guard lineups + DJ. You're not making a serious attempt at building cohesion that way. I think that's being done in practice for now. It's a brand new team.
Can someone in the coaching staff please, pretty please tell THT to pass. Dang!
He only has 6 shot attempts and 3 assists. Only one who has more assists is Rondo. I think we’re nitpicking here.
He has more turnovers than he has assists. I'm just watching game, not the boxscore.
Yes he has turnovers but you’re literally going on and on in this thread about him not passing the ball.
The whole team as whole looks out of sync. Don’t think it’s just a THT thing.
I do agree Reaves should run more point. I like his basketball IQ.
When I say pass, I mean make the right pass. He is always dribbling passed wide open players to force a play.. He lacks the IQ on a point and it is frustrating to watch.

Wow, it's like some guys here are already having veins popping out of their foreheads over a preseason game. Championships are never won in the preseason. They are merely scrimmages....
All these "concerns" are not concerns at all, especially AD who is in great shape and I know is going to have an awesome season.
It's the preseason....again, it's the preseason.
I am not concerned about anything....other than THT is a ball hog.....

LeBron and Westbrook are taking notes. There is no team effort. This game is an audition. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I forget who said it, THT needs a left hand _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Don't the Lakers always stink in pre-season? Folks always acting like the pre-season games matter. It is frustrating after not having basketball for a few months and wanting to see new guys together and watching a crappy game, but I would be shocked if the team was this bad come opening night.

I said it in here, but it is apparent.
OK. Like I said IMO THT is likable but overrated. I haven't seen a lot of improvement _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Not much improvement there....about a 30 point loss before both teams went to the bench depth ? _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team !

Exactly what I expected from a preseason game…
Guys looked pretty good..Monk looks great…he instantly replaces Kuzma and KCP production, in my opinion…
Carmelo and Rondo looked good…
Thought Davis moved well…

So shocked you would even think such a thing. Of course they were journeymen who didn't make a difference, just ask any box score reader.
It's early preseason though, we've got mostly vets who are bored with preseason games, and no roster balance with our best players other than AD sitting these games out. I'm hoping Vogel can get this team up to adequate defense. I don't expect them to come close to the shut down team we had, on the flip side maybe they can score when teams pack the paint in the playoffs this time around.

I watched a bit of Alex pre-season highlights... I'm trying to move on but
