RW must go. Irving is out there. Simmons and his defense is out there. |

Well, at least AD looked great, unlike what he did in the preseason, he turned it on.
Our corner 3s sucked so bad today. I’d give this another 10 games or so before getting too worried |

Of course we would. They would not. Not a chance in hell |

Doesn’t seem like Westbrook can get to the rim in a half court offense and he’s a horrible shooter.
I don’t see how it gets better. |

Westbrook played poorly this game, no question. As most everyone has stated, he's not a natural fit, for this team. It's going to be a bumpy start, as evidenced. I think that the teams spotty defense, makes the uneven offense look worse.
One positive takeaway is, at least the turnovers weren't as egregious, as in the postseason. So, that's a plus. The rest is a wait and see. _________________ ZOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Lakers lost all opening night games in the LeBron era. LeBron has never won a opening night game I believe. |

It’s funny, the game turned right when melo did a bonehead free throw pump fake that he’s never done in his career. And laughed about it. That’s when it started to go downhill |

Vogel doesn't have a clue about offense. He just rolls the ball out there for LBJ or Rondo to coach the team. At least get your lineups right |

I don’t know what Vogel will do, but melo can’t be our 4, if he wants AD at 5, lebron has to be the 4. |

The more I think about it- tonight proves to me at least, that the Lakers might have lost some money due to the pandemic and wanted to sign players with star names, REGARDLESS of if they fit, or were good anymore...Did you hear the crowd cheer when Melo came in?
This season is to SELL TICKETS to tourists, and screw the OG fans who understand actual basketball...management and ownership know we aren't gonna win...but lets sell those tickets!!! _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood. |

Zero surprise with Westbrook.
There is a reason that chemistry, pieces that fit, and defense wins championships.
The reality of tonight's performance by Westbrook should pierce the illusions and delusions that a lot of Lakers fans were living in thinking Westbrook was the answer.
Avery Bradley came in and in a matter of a few minutes... demonstrated exactly what the Lakers need from their backcourt... dogged defense and the ability to hit the three.
Unfortunately, Westbrook has neither of those skills on his resume.
Prediction: Fast forward to the 2nd half of the season and Westbrook elevates his game into mediocrity... limiting the damage he's causing on the floor but still failing to hit a shot from the perimeter.
The Westbrook disaster lies squarely on the shoulders of Pelinka and the Lakers Front Office. _________________ A three headed monster... Jeannie, Pelinka, and Ham... another terrible season.

Interesting to bring up though.
If you watched Kyrie’s IG live he said he’ll never retire and since he can’t play in the state of New York............... |

He couldn’t last year either. Westbrook should have worked on his outside shot. Last year was enough evidence that his ability to finish at the rim is becoming average. Without that how is he going to score? Off post ups and bank shots? |
