No two wins to stay at 7th because they both have 2 games left with 39 losses, wolves have 40 losses so lakers can’t afford to drop any games unless pelicans lose one
If lakers lose Friday and pelicans win, lakers will be 9th since wolves have the tiebreaker |

Can't stress enough how important it is to get an 8th seed and not fall below that.
8th seed means we have 2 chances to win 1 game.
9th seed means we lose, we go home, over a 2 game span.

| Actually maybe it is only 1 since pelicans and wolves both play each other so that will be advantage to get the 8th seed |

Pelicans (39 losses) and Minny (40 losses) play each other on matchday 82 so that's good news. Lakers can get to 42-40 by beating Utah at home even if they lose to the Suns.
