Probably won't ring a bell to many, especially in the younger crowd. But Cameron was a big part of my Saturday morning TV schedule as a kid. I met her before the show started to air because she jogged every weekend at the high school track right by my house, where the local kids would hang out to play football etc. She was the nicest person, always taking time to talk to us kids when the show started airing . . . And needless to say, I had a huge crush on her.

Joanna Cameron, star of CBS' The Secrets of Isis, has passed away. According to a tweet from Isis costar Joanna Pang Atkins, the classic DC star suffered a stroke last week and passed away on October 22nd. She was 70.
Cameron got her start in Norman Panama's How to Commit Marriage in 1969 and starred in a handful of projects before landing what would end up to be her most notable role. At the same time Lynda Carter was starring in her Wonder Woman series, CBS was also developing The Secrets of Isis, another series featuring characters from the DC Comics stable. Cameron played the show's lead character — Isis/Andrea Thomas — and often appeared alongside Shazam!, who went by the name Captain Marvel in the Show. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

I remember her from I think it was the 2nd Spiderman made for TV movie from the 70s. It was a super cheesy movie but as a kid I didn't know better and loved it. Obscenely gorgeous lady. _________________ KOBE |

She did seem a little young for you. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |
