Muncy looked at 2 strikes and swung through a 3rd strike

As usual, we leave too much meat on the bone and should have scored more. I don't even like JT swinging at that 3-1 pitch. Knebel is an adventure and he probably wouldn't have thrown 2 straight strikes.

Given that Phillips is coming in, we'll probably lose this one, still. One run is probably not going to be enough. I'm still so pissed at that Muncy AB. Two hittable pitches to start the AB and he takes them both. It's just unreal. You don't even need to get a hit there! Just hit the ball and let's see what happens! He's looking to walk. He cannot be playing. I don't care what his track record is.

Frustrating - Bases loaded with 1 out, and nothing. If you can't get a hit, learn how to bunt, and just try a sui/safety squeeze.

At the very least need to drop Max down to 9th if he’s going to keep playing

We know Dave Roberts won't do that.

Was that a bad decision by Trea Turner to make that throw to first? His chances of getting the out seemed low and he allowed Realmuto to take 3rd.

Another bad choice by Betts to try for 3B? We can not allow the winning runner to get into scoring position.

That's just a bad decision.

Yeah was a great throw but should have gone to second

Muncy is killing this team. His woes at the plate are now coming into his defense too. Just gave a baseball game away.

Phillies did everything they can to let us win with their mistakes. Then Muncy says hello.

Yep - Time to give him a short vacation, and let Rios take his spot.

Yep. Its time to take some time off and rehab that elbow or get it taken care of.

Such bad decisions and execution. What the heck happens to us in extra innings?

- bases loaded, 1 out, can't score another run.

- Trea Turner with the tough play at first, still trying to make the incredible throw while allowing Realmuto to go to 3rd. Luckily, Realmuto with the bone headed blunder to save Trea Turner's decision.

- Betts, trying to make the hero throw to 3rd base to allow the winning run to get into scoring position

- Muncy with a bobble that allows the runner at 2nd to score. Why couldn't the Phillies have Dino Ebel at 3rd base? For sure, Ebel would have held that runner up.

I definitely feel for Max, but he’s not right, physically or mentally. The team needs to figure this out.

Both scores (in the 9th and 10th) were with 2 outs. In the 9th, we had 2 outs with no one even on base yet. Just one of "those" games obviously.

This team is holding onto JT and Muncy way too long. Put both of them in IR to let them clear their heads or healing whatever ailments they may have.

JT has heated up this month. He had a .955 OPS over the last two weeks before today.

SD: 7
SF: 0

At this point, I don't know if I should be rooting for SD or SF.

SD's right on our tails right now. Should they win today, they'd be 1/2 game behind. I think SD is this year's version of last year's SF Giants.

Dodgers: 27-13
Padres: 27-14 (should they win this game)
