Evan Phillips is a beast. I like how we just accumulate/acquire a bunch of relievers every year and see who performs well. This yr, Evan Phillips has been a pleasant surprise.

Beating Musgrove with White starting and our top 3 going without a hit, just like we planned it.

No Mookie. Top 3 hitters go 0 for tonight. Doyers didn't grind any at-bats. Just 1 BB. Joe mowing en down most of the night.

And we lose?

Lol 7 straight losses at Dodger stadium? Embarrassing AF

Dodgers own us. Simple as that. These games are fun, but this team gets petrified every. single. time we play the Dodgers. This team is going to get (bleep) from the playoffs so quick without any offense and against elite/deep pitching.

Ooooof Snell vs Gonsolin tomorrow

Least it's not Snell vs. Kershaw.

Gonsolin is the likely NL cy young leader

Its most likely gonna be 0-2 tommarow if snell starts. Plz bob if anything dont (bleep) make him go back in idwe get back in the lead after snell give up 2 rbi's or if we have a 10+ run lead.

Anyone heard of any of the pitchers we faced tonight (other than Kimbrel)?

In a 1-0 game, we've already struck out in two different innings with a man on 3rd and less than 2 outs. This team frustrates me like crazy. Snell is doing his usual thing of racking up the pitch count but the K's too, and limiting the runs against us.

Holy crap - Doesn't matter how bad of a year Snell is having (no wins, with like a 6 ERA), he still owns us.

It's like clockwork, it really is unbelievable. The dude turns into prime Sandy Koufax against us, and he's terrible against the rest of baseball since his Cy Young year, basically.

Every time this happens, I’m reminded of Tampa pulling him early in that clinching World Series game.

One of the most indefensible sports decisions in the history of life.

A Bellibomb gives us a 2-1 lead. We've still struck out 14 times of our 17 outs so far lol. Rather pathetic.

Gonsolin is the truth. Guy has been lights out all year. Who would have guessed he'd be in the Cy Young conversation before the year started?

His split/change is just nasty. Falls off the table. And he'll throw anything in any count. Just shows you that you don't have to have a plus fastball if you can throw other pitches for strikes and if you have another pitch that is plus. And in this case, it's a plus-plus pitch. One of the best pitches in baseball this year.

Freddie is just an assassin at the plate...

that was a nasty pitch, that Freddie poked opposite side for an RBI double

Yep, his confidence is through the roof right now. Guy is dealing like an assassin out there every time out.

You could tell Gonsolin really did not want to come out. I definitely would have let him get the last out of the 8th.

I can't believe we scored two guys from 3rd base that inning. One sac fly, and one grounder to the right side. This team never gets those.
