One batter too late. He was starting to clearly labor in the 6th. |

The Dodgers are again showing the ability to go on insane streaks of winning for large parts of the season.
I really want it for this year for Vin and in front of the absolute best fans in baseball, Dodgers always draw huge attendance win or lose. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I hadn't realized this, but they just said on the Royals broadcast that Will Smith was a comp pick for Arizona having signed Greinke as a free agent. That worked out nicely! |

The Yankees gave up 2 late runs to lose to Boston 3-2. They are in a freefall right now. Philly also beat the Mets in 10 innings, 2-1. |

How come you guys never use the term "Noble Tiger" when our pitchers get out of a bases loaded no outs jam?
I was reading the Royals game thread and they use that term. I never knew that term til today lol. |

That term basically only exists on reddit. It started a couple years ago on the Tigers subreddit. |

Yeah lol. It's basically a play on how offensively inept their team was/is.

LOL damn Tigers fans.
It is fun reading the opponent's game day thread when we are winning. Their misery adds little more fun to it. |

After tonight we are first in runs scored. I looked up the most runs scored and run differential in a season and we are not gonna beat that. LOL. |

Blame Kimbrel, Moranta and Bickford for their continued suckitude for allowing the opponents to scrap some meaningless runs.

I was never concerned about the Yankees to be honest. Mentioned it before but they started the season with a really easy schedule and it's all coming home to roost. I'm more worried about the scumbags from Houston. _________________ KOBE |

The Biological Splash Bro!
Super stoked he has significantly improved since his original stop in LA. When CT3, JT and Pillar all went down we were desperate for a RH bat and glove and Trayce has been a Godsend. |

Also, the AL East is always and still is the best division in MLB and the law of averages is catching up to them. The first couple months our own NL West featured all .500 plus squads, now look at how things currently are during the dogdays of a long season.

Yankees were playing above their weight but they are also experimenting a lot right now - reminds me a bit of that Dodger freefall in 17. Experimentation and letting your foot off the pedal tends to not work in the dog days of summer/september.
Trayce is giving me Soler vibes in terms of the kind of acquisition he can be for us. |

Oh and while we are obviously the offensive class of the league, I'm so pleased to see it coming from a diversity of players and in a myriad of ways -- we're not at all long-ball reliant, which bodes very well for the postseason.
I think this team may just roll to and through the big one, guys. |

Too bad Doc's loyal to a fault, Trayce so obviously deserves to be the everyday LF going forward instead of CT3k's a game.
I guess at worst TT's a shoe-in for a postseason roster spot and the primary RHH off the bench (sorry Hanser). |
