The Lakers are not good at executing in the half-court and that led to a number of shot clock violations. Turnovers. Dead that agenda. |
I hope that gets addressed soon, because the playoffs is all about half court execution. |

Always nice to beat the Spurs, even if they are a shell of their former selves. |

Got to view the 4th quarter in some detail.
While the team got this one, it remains a concern that the team still almost gave up the lead with under 5 minutes to go in the game. In about a 2 minute span a 9 point lead was quickly reduced to 2. Yep, the team then burst out again to end the game and put the Spurs away, but what is happening game after game is the team having difficulty putting lesser opponents away. I'm not sure how sustainable this will be if the team cannot get some "breathing room" wins - and this by the way is against all sorts of lesser opponents.
But, what may be somewhat intriguing is a future lineup of AD, LBJ, THT, Bradley, and Russ. But, as DB discussed in his summary, that will require THT to be a solid 3 shooter.
As an aside, was good to see THT out there. Will hold back any really opinion of how his game has developed until more data is in. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |
