|

23 Games in it seems like the Rotations are all over the place with so many moving parts. Assuming Lebron is back ( No Ariza, No Nunn) what is the ideal Rotation we have. Try to keep 10 players only.
Westbrook (36)/Rondo (10)/Bradley(2)
Bradley(18)/Monk(20)/Ellington(10)
Ellington(8)/Lebron(22)/THT(18)
Lebron(14)/AD(10)/Melo(24)
AD(26)/Howard(22)
Lebron= 36
AD= 36
Westbrook= 36
Melo= 24
Howard=22
Bradley= 20
Monk= 20
Elington=18
ThT= 18
Rondo= 10 |

Last night was a great indicator of what happens when DAJ and Bradley don’t play. |

I wouldn't be surprised to see us slightly above .500 all season. We just aren't that good. Lebron is nearing the end. Westbrook thinks the way he plays is winning basketball. Davis needs to find motivation. Line ups can only help so much when you're team isn't good overall. |

Russ Westbrook / Rondo
Austin Reaves / Monk / THT
Lebron James / Ellington
AD / Melo
Dwight Howard / DAJ (limited minutes)
Then go from there.
I know that he isn't gonna start Austin Reaves, so I don't mind him starting Wayne Ellington and Reaves subbing in for him. THT could go somewhere though. He needs to develop a left hand and court vision. Not saying trade him, he couldn't be traded until January anyways. He's young and needs to develop the technical aspect of the game. |

That's where I'm at... DJ doesn't need any mins though as I liked what I saw with LeBron playing the 5 too. When healthy, something like:
Dwight (20), AD (20), LeBron (8)
AD (14), Melo (24), LeBron (10)
LeBron (14), Wayne (18), THT or Ariza (16)
Reaves (14), Monk (26), Nunn (8)
Westbrook (34), Nunn (14) |

DAJ didn't play in many of the losses this year when AD started at the 5. I don't think this is about one particular player. It's as a whole, the team doesn't play with the energy and effort it needs to on defense.
On paper, defensively, Bradley fights through screens as much as anyone, and is a guy that gives his all. DAJ, he is still good at rebounds and blocking shots. If the other 3 guys around them are playing well on defense, that is a lockdown lineup.
I think what you simply need is more cohesion with their efforts and mindset. Everyone needs to give optimal defensive effort, not just one player. |

We've tried every rotation possible. How many different starting lineups have we seen? This team just isnt good. no shuffling of the current players gets us to title contention. |

Start
Howard / AD / Lebron / Ellington / Westbrook
Sub1
AD / Melo / THT / Monk / Westbrook
Sub2
LBJ / Melo / THT / Reaves / AB
Close
AD / LBJ / Ellington / Hot Hand / Westbrook
We really need a Forward to cut down on Melo's minutes. |

Those of you who keep obsessing about rotations are focusing on the trees and not the forest. _________________ Internet Argument Resolved |
