The home team scorekeepers can really take advantage of this if they’re slick about it

Remember that one season we had Fisher and Vujacic leading the league in FT%? It's so damn important having good FT shooting.

I also remember when our team was miserably poor, and then we picked up KCP and he was such a breath of fresh air from the FT line.

If they didn't touch the ball then you can't say it was Kings' ball so when the time started the refs had to whistle to stop play and that meant they had to jump it up since they couldn't just give the ball to the kings who didn't grab the ball.

Tough luck for the Kings, I can understand why they're upset

They started the clock too soon and no one had possession.

Yeah, if our players are dumb enough to not touch the ball first and complain

So if they do the rolling the ball on inbound but the timekeeper run the clock, it will automatically be a jumpball?

Lebron's high BBIQ.

Load manage the the opening jump ball that doesn't matter by not even jumping. And save it for the 4th quarter jump ball.

No, because when the one team scores, the possession goes to the other team . Missed FT is a live ball
