No AD and Russ scores only 9 points.

You still don't think LBJ would have won with the kids?

I get that the Hawks are a messy team in need of an overhaul... but we would have been fine with a non superstar lineup and LBJ.

Doing this again?

No more than you say the opposite.

It's frustrating that we have money tied up to the point that it will be difficult to sign Monk... but you go ahead and think everything is fine.

The kids would not been on rookie contracts now, so you can forget about Mali k either way.

We would have more flexibility... and be better off if LBJ wasn't dictating the team.

His play is incredible though... enjoyed the game in spite of this.

If he loves the lakers, he can take one year MMLE (6 mil ish) and then one year early bird and big contract

That would be amazing... but we shouldn't have to rely on miracles to keep the team going.

Only turned the ball over 8 times. Without Westbrook's usual 5 to 10 TOs we are pretty solid taking care of the ball.

You forgot his 5-10 missed layups, which pretty much equal turnovers.

Fouls out.

Game now a lock. Yeah!

11 rebounds and 13 assist.

I have no idea why the negative energy, Westbrook has been pretty solid the last 2 games.. if you want to vent your frustrations _#1_ go do it in the FA/Trade thread..

Good job Lakeshow. Much needed 4-0 homestand so far.

Beat Memphis on Sunday and we start talking about a legit climb…

If Melo/Monk/AB can keep shooting like this, WB will have 20 assists soon, and also means less shots for him. We will be a tough out when AD comes back

I doubt he gets hot from the 3 again, but it seems like he gets hot from the 3 against the lakers only

That Covid outbreak killed our momentum, we’d be 5-7 games over 500 at least without those frustrating losses

Westbrook had an actual overall pretty good game.

his 11 rebounds and 13 assists with only 3 turnovers was good.

if he can do that and keep his turnovers at less then 4 a game then thats good to me.

Most of his shots are layups, while he misses some, I can live with that

I genuinely believe this

Having DJ, Rondo and IT as a significant part of the rotation for that stretch of losses really, *really* killed us. THT's slump post-covid did not help either

Nice win. Actually an enjoyable game to watch.

They still suffer from inconsistent effort and decision making. Would have loved to see them take the lead to 25-30 and let some of the old legs sit most of the fourth. Giving up big leads is a bad habit!

A win is a win.

Got to see some of the replay [just finished], nice W. I fully expected Trae Young to go off point wise, but he was kept to a reasonable point score. Meanwhile, Monk just beasting of late.
