Look at this replay of the Marcus Smart flop.

His own teammates didn't even bother to help him, they knew he was full of (bleep). Wadda cuck.

This crap is shameless.

Boston has no answers for Bam. Just like the playoffs 2 years ago.

Timelord was out tonight.

I don't understand how players who have obvious reputations to hit the floor and to try to sell contact usually get the benefit of the call. Are the refs that dumb? I'd assume the opposite, that a player like that has committed an act that's not in the spirit of the game and I'm assuming they are the ones guilty of an infraction, not the other way around.

I just don't get it. If I were in control of the NBA, I would institute a soccer-like yellow card/red card system in which flopping was reviewable, like VAR. You'd end that sh*t really quickly.

I don't see Timelord mattering. He's a good off ball rim protector. But I wouldn't call him a Bam stopper. And if anything. Bam's perimeter game will keep him from protecting the rim.

Tatum doing Tatum things again. Gotta admit I was wrong and thought MIL would knock Boston out but I called him out a long time ago as the guy who lacks mental toughness to be a true #1. Hopefully the Heat make him pay....but damn the Celtics are good. Whenever they have their (bleep) straight they show they are the superior team but the same mental lapses that killed them 2 years ago keep showing up now. The difference? They are much better now than they were back then

Miami is smart. Turned it into a football game and it worked. Celts couldn’t handle it.

Tatum is only 24. He'll end up with multiple rings.

Agree to disagree there. Bam looked like game 7 Ayton first two games. Although Lowry's presence probably had a big impact

Even getting 1 is far, far from a given.

If he plays for the Lakers after his Celtics contract, he will.

Tatum had a couple similar stinkers against Milwaukee but then he dropped the all time game 6, matching Giannis down the stretch. Tons of variance for a 1st team All NBA player.

Tatum's lack of defense will prevent him from being an all timer.
Hopefully he takes bad shots his entire career.
And wins 0 rings in Boston.

Agreed...look what happened to the Kings. Chris Webber in 2002 was a superior player to Tatum now. The Kings back then in 2002 were better than the Celtics now. The Kings looked like the best team in the league. Mike Bibby and Bobby Jackson are as clutch as anyone here on the Celtics.....remember how clutch Bibby was even if guys like Stojakovic and Christie wouldnt even touch rim when the games were tight???? Yet it never happened for the Kings

The Bibby/Webber PnR gave me ulcers during that era. Bibby's midrange was as filthy as Chris Paul's. Go under the screen and it was an automatic bucket.

But to your point, I complete agree. We're spoiled as Lakers' fans but winning even 1 is really, really hard. If Middleton wasn't hurt, Celtics would've gotten dealt with by the Bucks.

He is Pierce without quite the clutchness of Pierce and more athleticism

Pierce. Harden. Tatum has that "old man's game" that never ages. He has played like that since he was at Duke.

Absolutely no guarantee of that at all. So many great players without rings. Makes me laugh when our own Lakers fans belittle the 2020 ring. It’s so difficult to win one, let alone multiple ones.

We noticed that you disappeared when Tatum did lead his team to big playoff wins.
