The ridiculous irony of ANY Lakers fan saying this after 2 seasons of whining and defending the bubble championship from other fanbases saying the same thing.
Get a grip. Many/most people would view THIS championship as more legit than the bubble one, no matter how many fortuitous injuries benefited the winning team. Let's not be hypocrites just 'cause you're salty about the Celtics winning another one. |

He didn’t even workout for us, if he did, Boston would’ve picked him number 1 |
Great then Boston wouldn't have the additional FRP Philly gifted them and the Lakers would have been no worse off - assuming they didn't pick Fultz. (Different story that).
And this isn't even factoring in a smart FO (cleverly) putting out FUD/smoke e.g. "reliable sources say the Lakers brass were so dazzled by Ball's workout that Magic Johnson took the unprecedented and extraordinary step of visiting the Ball residence to have a private 1-on-1 with Ball Sr." etc. etc. |

Yes, there will be asterisks. Middleton was injured for the Bucks. Buttler and Herro for Miami. Asterisks, asterisks galore. (bleep) Boston and their lucky asses. |

There are no asterisks for championships in my book. You beat the teams in front of you and Boston looks like the walking dead as well. Robert Williams/Smart look like they may be game to game (and this series is not technically over, as I think the Heat have a chance to steal game 6).
Hope the Warriors wrap this one up and get rested. They have a much better chance against Boston IMO b/c they have big wings (i.e. Wiggins, Porter and Kuminga) to throw against Brown/Tatum. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

If Boston remains in title contention, it validates their title and their noob FO.
Meanwhile we cleared mountains & Mozgovs of cap space for Bron only to then turn around and leak how we don’t want to empower Klutch too much….and how’d that turn out? 4 year windows of Bron in Miami = 4 straight Finals; 4 years back to Cleveland = 4 straight Finals runs…you see where I’m going with this, right?
Anyways, the cbags gotta be taken out!
Curri Wan Splashobi, you’re our only hope!
I hope they Leia their asses out!

Herro has a groin injury so does that mean he will probably miss game 6? |

He absolutely did. It is just that Magic and the Sixers FO played their hands so aggressively regarding who they were honed in on that Boston knew they could trade down and still get their guy at #3. Ainge said as much around the draft and was mocked a bit for it. |

Why all the gloom and doom? Some here have already gift-wrapped the Larry O'Brien and shipped it off to TD Garden.
Are we forgetting the Dubs have a great defense? Have we forgotten that Steve Kerr is a good coach? Aren't Steph and Klay still snipers? Green can shut down many of their offensive power players if he controls his temper.
My angst is our FO. I don't think Jeanie has what it takes to rebuild. The Celtics fell apart around the same time we did. They've recovered, we're still sinking. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Come on, man. The playoffs are all about fleeting overreactions. You know that. As you know, I’m not invested in Celtics hate, so I wouldn’t freak out if the Celtics won the title. So from a perspective that is more objective than some, I’d give the Celtics a 3 out of 4 chance of finishing off the Heat and a 1 in 3 chance of beating the Warriors. The number crunchers give the Celtics a much better chance of winning the title, but I think they undervalue the Warriors. _________________ Internet Argument Resolved |

We were the joke of the league this year and now Boston may win a title
Sure GSW has amazing talen and experience but Boston seems hungrier as a team |

Heat can barely score. It's almost downright sad to see them brick shots and just not be able to create scoring.
Warriors are a whole different beast. They have so much scoring and gravity from shooters all over the place. Unlike the Heat, they have multiple big wing defenders from Wiggins, Klay, Kuminga, and Porter.
They will likely go with Looney to start to bang around with Williams, but then they go small too and will spread the floor. Plus, Williams/Smart are almost game to game with injuries too. This Heat and Buck series have really took a toll on them physically. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Im not sure i can hold it together folks if these fools win it this year, it’s bad enough they drafted Tatum who i wanted and I technically can’t root for what’s probably my current favorite player because he plays for the enemy…. Sad times |

Which is where I'm coming from.
As a Lakers fan, I don't want to see the Celtics put 18 in the rafters before us.
I've been a Celtics dissenter since the Bill Russell days. I was a Knicks fan then and they were taking my Knicks out. My dislike for them has carried over to my becoming a Lakers fan.
The only praise I have for Bean Town is they were the first team in the NBA to start 5 Blacks. Choose as you may Red Auerbach is and will always be my #1 coach. Dislike his team, but love him. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
