Can Butler repeat tonight's performance tho?
They needed everyone of those stats just for the Heat to pull out a close win.
Celtics didn't get anything from Horford and Williams tonight. |

This appears to be setting up nicely for the Warriors. I believe they have home-court advantage too. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

I thought the Celtics would win at home and I didn't want any part of that. I only glanced at the score here and there. When I saw the Heat were up 10 late in the 3rd I decided to watch. Celtics then went on their run and went up 3 the only part of the game that I watched. When they went up 3 in the 4th I was done watching. Yes I checked the score and saw the Heat were up, but no I didn't jinx it by turning the game back on.
Now to watch the highlights on youtube. |
Please Please skip game 7 |

Tucker is a poor mans Draymond.. easily worth tons more than THT |
Bucks made a huge mistake for let him go. Just liked we let Horry go to the Spurs to get 2 more rings. |

If the Celtics win game 7 in Miami I am going to lose it....but I am expecting the Heat to blow these bums out. Go Miami! |

Closest???? I would say mentality-wise Butler is already there. No way in hell Kobe or Jordan would be able to punk or intimidate Butler. Butler would stare them both down and give them buckets. |

We just need the butt to show up for game 7 then it's gonna be a boring Finals that doesn't interest me. I don't need anymore excitement in this playoffs. |

Beat me to it!
I agree, he is hard headed and not afraid. And a tremendous player, maybe not the high flyer like legendary Kobe, but he is nicknamed Jimmy Buckets for a reason. |
If we had targeted Butler instead of AD... we'd be in terrific shape right now.
I don't know if we could have got him... but if we kept most of our assets and picks... and signed Butler instead of trading for AD it would have changed everything having Jimmy's mentality on the team.
Makes me sad to think of what could have been. Another dynasty perhaps. |

Seen him top 15 in most list out there as high as #10 already. |
Top 10? Geez. |
No chance, at least not yet. Who does he supplant from Jordan, LeBron, Cap, Magic, Bird, Wilt, Russell, Shaq, Kobe, or Duncan, who are pretty much the established ten greatest? He's top 15 for sure but I don't even think he's past Hakeem yet. Having said that, another ring or two with him as the team's centerpiece and all bets are off. |
I definitely wouldn't rank him above Hakeem. My top 14 (in alphabetical order):
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Larry Bird
Kobe Bryant
Wilt Chamberlain
Tim Duncan
LeBron James
Earvin "Magic" Johnson
Michael Jordan
Hakeem Olajuwon
Shaquille O'Neal
Oscar Robertson
Bill Russell
Jerry West
The 15th would be between a few players (i.e. Julius Erving and Stephen Curry). |
Who is better Curry or KD? |
There's no comparison. What has KD accomplished in his NBA career other than leeching a ring off of Curry while Curry has masterfully won 3 championships? If KD didn't ring chase, he would probably end up like a Barkeley or a Malone, "great" players who's never won anything. |
Didn't Curry win 2 of titles with KD, with KD taking FMVP both times?... Also Not sure you can call beating a depleted Cavs team without Kyrie/Love masterfully. He also part of the biggest masterful choke job in finals history.
Curry probably only have 1 title if it was not for KD... I'll take KD over Curry when it comes to carrying a team. | I was rooting for the Bucks last year. But let's be honest kd had them beat in game 7... it's just too bad his foot isn't an inch shorter. Kd easily takes out the suns. _________________

Nah. The move should have been to get Jimmy as the 3rd guy. We chased Kawhi instead. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

He also turned down KD and Kawhi. He has no interest being a 2nd option either, and going by how his game elevates into another tier in the playoffs, I don’t blame him. |

I was just gonna say that. Targeting Butler with AD and Lebron would have been incredible. A legit big 3 at all the marquee positions. A true facilitator/scorer, a two way wing player, and an anchor bigman. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

IIRC, Jimmy wanted to come to the Lakers with AD & Bron and the Lakers talked to him, but he didn't want to wait for the Kawhi saga to play out. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Jimmy was fine being a 2nd guy on a team with Embiid, Simmons, Redick etc
But they picked Tobias Harris over him. I think as long as you're winning and about winning, Jimmy doesn't take issue with you. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:
