This deal was for Chris Paul to the Suns.

What we gave up for Westbrook was a better deal than that. How weird is it to be THAT stingy over a pick for CP3, yet we gladly gave up two picks for a one year rental of Dennis Schroder, and another for Westbrook.
Just realized this and now I'm more angry about this whole ordeal.

Another reason why it's dumb to keep doing the "two max guys and some vet mins" roster building. You can never trade for guys when they're made available. Just an FO that every year crosses its fingers that Lebron and AD stay healthy and at least a few of the journeymen role players they signed aren't completely worthless. |
