I love Devin Booker -- Kobe did too -- but he got offended when AD implied that his injury last year was a turning point and the Suns know they got away with one.

Now Booker is hurt and a series that the Suns had under control suddenly looks iffy.

Get it now? It's not sour grapes -- just reality.

Good point!

I do hope they lose, and I sure hope they don't hypocritically make excuses.

He understood it last year too. They were down 2-1, AD in 2 wins had 2 30+ point games. Without him, they win the rest of the series 3-0. James wasnt 100% either, and role players couldnt step up. With AD, we play in the WCF against the clippers and probably win

Maybe.... maybe not. He was the one while in Game 4 when AD went down taunting the LA crowd on the sidelines with "Oh....Oh!!!". So while I like how Booker was a Kobe fanatic and vice-versa...Kobe saw something he liked on him... Booker can be a bit of a punk sometimes. Hopefully this is a humbling moment for him. I won't lie... I DON'T WANT THE SUNS to win AT ALL!!!

I want the suns to lose but never want to root for injury as a way for players to learn a lesson. Also I can already here the media story when they win and booker comes back and how they overcame so much adversity

And when the Suns win the series it won’t matter.

Now maybe AD understands what he said is just an excuse, especially as booker's team moves on.

If he had better focus instead of making such excuses, the lakers wouldn't have gone cancun early by losing those okc/sac games.

It's easier to play with a broken nose than a sore wrist.

For a broken nose, you just need to wear a protective mask over it, but you're not continually aggravating the injury by playing as you can with a wrist injury.

It's always some thing, and I can't stand excuses. Great leaders put the onus on themselves to come back better. Gotta look in the mirror and think "how can I improve?"

Then say that. Quit being passive aggressive with AD and LBJ.

Passive-aggressive? AD is soft. he sat with a sore wrist. Book wasn't getting his nose touched until after playoffs. Why you bringing up bron?

How about an injured hamstring?

Are you asking or are you just doing that stupid schtick where you play that you're somehow dumber than usual?

C'mon guys. Let's play nice.
Besides, Booker won't understand till at least round 2, when the CP3 curse hits hard. You know it's gonna happen.

CP3 made the finals and shot 14 for 14 propping up an injured Booker.

I'm not sure these guys can win anything... but if they don't, it won't be because of a CP3 jinx.

The guy's proven himself in the clutch.

I was rooting for the Pels... but I can't help but admire what he did.

The curse isn't about his skillet. He's elite.
It's about his inopportune playoff injuries.

Bruh the curse hit pretty hard last year.

CP3 injured his shoulder against us and missed games because of Covid Protocols in the conference-finals.

The Suns, in his first year there, still took him twice as far than he had ever been in the playoffs at that point.

The suns are deeper and more experienced than last year. They'll likely be fine if it rears its head in some fashion.

Don't forget he also had torn ligaments in his hand last year.

And I know why they made it to the finals last year though.
AD injury.
Jamal Murray injury.
Klaw injury.

Thank goodness that Giannis had some Wolverine healing factor to not miss any games.

Hmm. Zion missed this series. Maybe cp3s curse also affects other players too 😂
