This is what it looks like when you have "complete confidence" in your GM. |

We are definitely NOT a championship contender, and although he will get you more nationally televised games, he hasn't had any affect whatsoever on attendance. If you take into account the number of fans that have tuned out until he's gone, he's really not moving the needle much IMO. And that GOAT crap is nauseating. He's no more important to the NBA than Shaq was and Dr. Buss traded him. |

Don’t be surprised if Pelinka gets canned this summer and Phil Jackson gets promoted as the GM while Rambis works along side him. |

In retrospect, we should all be glad to Phil did what Phil did to the Knicks because they could’ve easily been us under slightly different circumstances.
But the bad news is, former Knicks President Phil Jackson will now use his influence to turn us into the west coast Knicks now.. if we haven’t already gotten there ourselves… |

What he really means to say is that Lebron has too much sway over Jeanie and he wants to get him out of the way. Phil's Jedi mind tricks don't work on Lebron, and Phil isn't going to abide that.
Anyway, this should work out great. |

There are so many great basketball ops minds out there and these are the people we are going to. |

1. why the mythical theory about Klutch taking over the team, if you want to cut tie with them just trade AD and LeBron, or not renew LeBron next year, it's that simple because either way you gonna piss them off, so what's the difference whether using phil jackson or not.
2. Klutch is the last remaining non ex-Laker piece we have on the team that has connections with the modern NBA. many young stars are being represented by Klutch, and the list is growing every year. what's good out of getting rid of them? going back to 80's show time highlight reel PPT to court free agents? |
Great post, you understand the big picture. |

IMO the only great thing than Jeanie has done under her watch is cozy up with Klutch. Other than that, seems we lucked out in so many regards. |

why is it a great post? Agents want their players to get paid. Nothing else matters. Whether we were doing business with Klutch now or not, if they have a player and we have the money, their will be deals to get done. Klutch understands the value of the LA market and the Lakers brand.
Klutch has no say in the Lakers org. They bring possible opportunities like every other agent. |

I think you missed the point there.
The point is that there are people that blame Klutch for the Lakers situation right now, completely ignoring the fact that many of these problems have existed prior to Klutch even entering the Laker world. Because of that, these problems will continue to exist whether or not Klutch is here or not.
And therefore, anyone who is blaming Klutch isn’t looking at the big picture here. |

Phil was a great coach, but I think he’s proven that him GM/FO skills were not up to par. Jeanie would be better off taking advice from Jerry West but we now know how and why that vital bridge was burnt |

Playing does not equate to coaching and coaching does not equate to running a team. Often the best at each are not good at the others. _________________ “We must always take sides.
