Thank you for sharing and thank you to SSR for giving us our fix.

Austin has a chip on his shoulder and that is a great thing. Been called Hillbilly Kobe not because he is stupid or a redneck but because this Manchild has a FEROCIOUS BELIEF IN HIMSELF - He is a Winner!

In Kobe's fist year he got fatigued at the end of the season.. hit the gym like 0ne or two weeks after season ended.. MAMBA

I expect him to have a really good season for us. Strength and 3 point shooting were his 2 biggest weaknesses and I'm glad he's working on them.

Good stuff.
Being stronger will be a definite plus.
Good to hear the other guys are there as well.

Two more things to work on for year 2:
1. Jumper consistency
2. Not getting hit on the face

That game was basically a scrimmage, Reeves was stat padding.

Yeah, it was the last game of the season and meaningless for both teams. All the top players were out. It was a 146-141 free-for-all.

Markus Howard scored 25 points. Malik Monk scored 41. Wayne Ellington scored 18. Stanley Johnson scored 15.

Honestly he does enough things well, and has the smarts.
Improving his shot and getting physically stronger would make him a bonafide starter.

But those are 2 things that take work. And it's a tbd.

Man, I love my takes in this thread.
But still don't think there should be this many AR threads.

I disagree. I don’t think there is enough of them.

I’ll probably make another myself.

You're right. We need to ban whoever doesn't create an AR thread

Yeah posting what he did in the last game of the season to show what he's capable of only to be told he couldn't do that in a real game by those who likely never saw him in college.

Once players realize what they can do against NBA competition and at NBA speed, they're capable. It's up to them to work on it and continue to take advantage of it as the competition gets better. Reaves wasn't called "Hillbilly Kobe" for no reason.

Does that mean VLF finally gets banned?!

I fully support this Epic!

Reaves is a nice story. He has NBA level skills on both ends. His three-point shooting could improve. However, if anyone expects him to become more than just a quality role player, they're being optimistic. There's a reason why he wasn't drafted -- he doesn't have high level skills or athleticism. I could see him being 7-8 in the rotation on a good team. Anything better than that would be surprising. However, I'm never going to say that a young(ish) player can't exceed expectations.

Call me optimistic. Also, I have eyes that work.

Was always an owner of land on Reaves island. I even was criticized for saying AR would be a future starting guard for us.

Now that Gaston Reaves has passed Kendrick Nunn on the depth chart, he is unstoppable.

The suggestion that Nunn would be our 3rd best player

I do, pretty easily.

I hope you're right!

Particularly if the Lakers hang on to him of course.

Reaves showed more of everything I appreciated about him last year, and exceeded my expectations. I thought of him as a very solid role player but not a starter on a title contending squad. He just keeps getting better. Mike ( a t ) LG with the right call.

Steve Black would like to have a word.
