Wait, they were in pursuit and he still had time to shoot up a school?

Lots of questions indeed. That makes no sense.

That’s what CNN just said.
Incident at his grandmother’s house. Killed her.
Cops in pursuit
Gunman crashes his car in a ditch
Gets out, with body armor and a rifle
Cops, supposedly, engage him.
He still has time to go into the school and slaughter 18 children!!

Why????

Pursuit doesn't necessarily mean they had him in their sights. Most likely they responded to a call about gunfire, went to investigate and upon finding the dead Grandmother went about trying to find the guy. Guy could have gone in any different number of directions at that point. They'd talk to witnesses so on and so forth. Even given a measly 5 minutes, a lunatic with a semi-automatic can cause massive damage. And for what it's worth that 5 minutes is being extremely generous with police response time. I've had to call the police twice over the years and both times it took 30+ minutes for an officer to show up.

He must have had at least one semi-automatic weapon.

Social media plays a huge role IMO of why these psychos do what they do. They're usually loners with no friends or following, and hate their peers who live a fake lifestyle they display on social media thinking everyone's life is so great and amazing when in reality its all an illusion.

They want to end their life but realize no one will care. At least if you take out several people in the process, you face/name will be all over the media. I wish media would stop identifying these guys and plastering their face/names all over the place.

Sadly, since it doesn’t impact them or their families, they could care less.
They love guns, want guns, support the NRA and gun right.
Sick people…

It makes you wonder if the school shooting was planned or a reaction.

I had heard a report of exchanging fire with the border patrol but since they are 60 miles away from the border I wondered how accurate it was.

I used to work 60+ miles from where I lived (worse experience ever). Sucks but doable.

I am so tired of this (bleep).

Leave the children alone and just kill your own pathetic self.

If this guy was still alive, I would like to see him tortured to death and I am not kidding. Nice parenting also, way to go.

I remember this! Prior to Columbine, the Mcdonald's shooting and the tower shooting at a Texas college were the only mass shootings I knew of. Now it's at least one per week. W t f.

That was near San Diego and the border. Everyone had guns where I grew up as a kid but this never happened. Edit: San Yasidro.

amazing that 70%+ in the country are against the overturn of Roe vs. Wade, and yet the religious backwardass justices are looking to overturn the ruling, and yet with a majority of people in favor of gun control, you can't even get legislation to enforce safety handgun laws.

Ironic thing is, that the same Pro-Lifers (Republican Conservatives) are also Pro-Gun Right, Pro-NRA, Pro-Endless Magazines, Pro-Anything that can end life fast in a mass scale. Yet, they want to control a womens right to chose. This world is so messed up.
