Loving his effort lately. Offense has been smooth as ever. But he's hitting the glass and playing hard. |

Re: TB, I think he will get a team's MLE level offer if he keeps this up. His injury dramatically lowered his price so hopefully that is behind him. Going to be hard for the Lakers to keep him next year unless they save up cap space for him. |
Is Myles a better scorer/shooter than TB? I’m sure he’s a better defender, but TB has shown more touch and has shot better percentages from 3 than Turner, iirc. TB has shown this with the Wiz, so it’s not just a small sample size. Turner is running into contract issues with the Pacers on their negotiations, which implies that he’s asking for a lot. Is he that much better than TB? |

So Bryant stays at the 5 and Davis can move to the 4?
Pretty much the best case scenario unfolding at this point. |

I don’t doubt Turner is a better defender than TB. I’ve seen enough of TB to know he’s pretty mediocre on that end. But TB has consistently scored well in his time with the Wiz before he got hurt and is showing that here too now that he’s healthy. Is Turner worth losing a first round pick or two plus being basically obligated to pay him a near max deal? I haven’t seen enough of Turner to know. What I have seen of him hasn’t impressed me all that much, though. |

He finishes around the rim, and that’s miles better than turner. TB has soft touch around the basket and goes hard |

Yeah, Russ normally gets big man paid, and TB is sure trending that way |

Perhaps.
He was coming off injury and he wasn't like this when he first got back last year. I'd also say it benefits him playing with Bron and Russ. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!! |

He’s playing with a couple great passers, but so much is on him finishing or knocking down all those midrange. He’s keeping us afloat somehow with no AD. |

Thomas Bryant shot 70% for 72 games when he was playing with John Wall
I mean most centers need a good point guard, but he doesn't have to have Russ to thrive. |

StatMuse
@statmuse
Thomas Bryant tonight:
29 PTS
14 REB
12-14 FG
First Laker with that statline or better on 85 FG% since Shaq. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Freaking love this guy, and was my favorite signing in that offseason by far.
A shame that Pelinka has zero foresight to not also have him on a team option for another season. That would have been what an actual good GM would do. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

We’ll cross that bridge. Whenever we come to it. Pelinka deserves a little bit of credit for putting this team together. |

He would get credit if he can actually hold on to an actual core of players instead of total roster overhauls every year.
Until then, he gets nothings nice he put this team in a desperate situation in the first place. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Pelinka put together a bad team last year that’s it prior to that we were in contention you cannot predict injuries now he has put together another team with two stars with enough at the other positions to win the Lakers got off to a slow start, and they have had a problem with injuries. You cannot predict that. |

I heard Lebron say in post game interview how the front court of him AD and TB would look.
I agree but Ham didn’t run this lineup when AD was playing.
I wonder if he will when AD returns. |
