Bojan/Bey for Nunn/Bev/27 1st (top 5 protected).

Bojan is on a super team friendly deal with his 2nd year of his extension on partially guaranteed at 2m. Fits the timeline and he would add a 20 ppg scorer. Bey is a bigger wing too.

Now THIS is what I’m talking about.

That’s an awesome idea that actually helps this team tremendously.

Detroit would just need to accept our junk and a devalued draft pick. What could go wrong? Throw In Reaves and Christie and maybe things change.

Reaves is twice the player Bey is. Not even talking about Christie. Pistons get nothing more than a late first at best for Bogs on his own, and they don't want to pay Bey going forward because frankly he's not very good. Let's keep things reasonable.

What is reported is that teams are asking for unprotected FRPs from the Lakers. Teams being interested in protected picks doesn’t seem to be reasonable. But I get it, everyone should want our junk and we should never be expected to offer fair value.

There is no report that says teams want unprotected picks for anyone other then Westbrook. Post a link

Since people here love to post Cam Reddish stats everytime he has a good game, I guess it's only fair to post stats when he has a bad game right?

Reddish: 0 points, 0-4 FG, 0 reb, 1 ast, 3 TO, -16, 9 MP.

All anyone needs to know about Cam Reddish is he can’t get playing time with Atlanta or the Knicks.

He’s just not good or else he would be part of a rotation.

People just see big recruit, Duke University and think he’s good.

We trying to get him for Nunn...I repeat Nunn who is terrible and a 2nd Rd pick

I am seeing right now the Knicks and Mavs and Cam Reddish is playing the way you can easily get him for

Nunn, JTA and a 2nd

Just saying.

Edit

We don't have to include JTA, he makes 5.9mil.

BTW I think Nunn is playing better. I will just do the trade because he is really a wing.

The Knicks have too many guards. This is why Reddish gets playing time even though he has been poor. They aren't likely to have any interest in adding another small guard to their roster.

Why would Detroit want Bev and Nunn? They already have Cade, Ivey, and Hayes who's been playing well recently.

They don’t. They have the best of both worlds.
Young with talent.
A chance at #1 pick

Also, I don’t see them willing to trade Bojan, ultimately. They extended the guy haha

Yeah tough to see them going for that. He’s on a great deal and it’s not like they’ve got to ship out talent in order to tank.

Yeah, doesn’t look like it. I am just mad that rob pushed for Pat Bev instead of Bojan in that trade, if you put Bojan in this team now, we would be very dangerous.

Picks 5 and 7 years in the future. Wasting what few tradable assets they have now for that is the same as someone’s retirement plan being to play the lottery. Imagine passing on giving up an asset for something that could help the next couple of years for a 2027 Laker 29th pick.

I likewise don’t see Detroit moving Bojan. But he would slot in better than the other proposed deals. He’s a 50/40/90 guy who has a little floor game. Also adds to our capacity while displacing minutes for guys playing out of position.

I think a Pat Bev + Nunn + 2nd rd pick for Vucevic could make a lot of sense.

Vucevic is basically Brook Lopez on steroids.

We traded him and he was cut, so iirc we can’t sign him for at least a year unless someone else signs and then cuts him.

You mean Brook Lopez without the defense and boxing out? Sure.

For the trades to fit into the Lakers front office plans, it has to be for guys that fit not only position/talent need, but also still maintaining cap space next off-season.

That’s why for example, Kelly Oubre or Kyle Kuzma fit this bill. They are expiring and fit a huge need for this team.

For what it’s worth, maintaining cap space is especially gonna be important to resign guys like Lonnie Walker and Austin Reaves especially.

Vucevich is one of the worst shotblocking bigs in the league. He shouldn’t be confused with either of them.

So we’re trading future firsts for a 6-month rental?

Wait a minute… THAT’S MAGIC JOHNSON’S MUSIC!
