IG, don't take this personal but you read into all kinds of crazy stuff and make assessments that way....and sometimes from hacks.
We don't know if Pelinka is "working the phones" to trade Westbrook.

I mean nobody can read their minds right? The whole thing may very well have been for show, no telling how they - particularly Russ - feel inside. But you know based on what I saw they were amicable and I can't - and I'm not willing to - project my own feelings onto the situation. I have to go by how they're acting. Because ultimately as a fan I just have to hope for the best for this season. If a magic wand comes it comes (please!) but right now there isn't one so I have to hope for the best.

Caruso.
AC is a high IQ offensive player.
Beverly is more offensively rough.
yeah, I think they're close, in a vacuum it might even be a small upgrade
Beverley is a better offensive player though, as he's clearly a better 3-point shooter.
Despite all the people on this board who have insisted Caruso should make the All-Star team, he is below-average in just about every facet of basketball besides defense.
It’s not all about 3 point shooting. Caruso was a glue guy for the Lakers offense in 2020 chip season and the Bulls missed him when he went down too.
Ideally we would've had both of them, as Bev is a 1 and Caruso is more of a 2 (at least defensively).
But Caruso's lack of 3-point shooting touch is a problem, and we already have had too many players who can't keep defenses honest from downtown.
Calling Caruso a "glue guy" is too much when he can't break defenses down or set up teammates. But obviously he moved well without the ball and played well off LeBron, which made him look good.
