Michael Porter Jr. at shootaround right now. Heβs questionable (injury management) tonight vs. Lakers. |

I just updated the injury thread with that. On the one hand, that's a big difference maker in our favor if he ends up not being able to go. On the other hand it's a bummer to hear his back is still a thing. Back injuries are super hard to get over. On the other other hand, that's a big difference maker in our favor if he ends up not being able to go. |

I haven't been posting in the game thread because when I do we lose. I'm going to post tonight in an attempt to reverse the jinx.

MPJ out and Russ out. Lakers should win this game. If they don't, the hysteria will reach critical mass. |

OC 17th. Schroder (thumb) will be sidelined for three-to-four weeks after undergoing surgery Monday to address a ligament injury in his thumb, Dave McMenamin of ESPN reports.
He may be back for the Cleveland meeting on Nov 6th. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

LeBron and AD dominate. Space opens up a bit more with Russ out. Lakers finally hit from three for a decent enough rate. Defense continues to be dominant.
Lakers win. |

Lakers guard Austin Reaves is expected to start in place of Russell Westbrook (out, hamstring) tonight vs. Nuggets, per sources, a lineup change L.A. could keep moving forward as team searches for rotations. Reporting: |

I don't know why, but this spurred a memory of the 2007 Dallas Mavs who started 0-4 and then went on to win 67 games. I remember the panic because people thought they may be imploding as a continuation of blowing the 2006 Finals. But of course, after going 67-11 the rest of the way, that same team lost in the first round to the 8th seed Warriors. Bizarre season. |

Letβs see if the Lakers decide to attack the basket and limit Jokic to 4-5 minutes in the first half or if they continue to try their luck on outside shots. |
