If we win this, there is a chance!
If we lose, then Lebron points tour it is.

LeBron James is probable for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers. Lonnie Walker (illness) is questionable. Patrick Beverley is no longer on the injury report after missing the last two games.

Tour has already started after the first game. Enjoy the view.

You are far more optimistic then I am. IMO the Lakers are already on the Points Tour only to be followed by the multi year Retirement Tour.

I would just like to be surprised to see the team show some pride every once in a while in marquee games. Like the clips tonight for instance!

Is it asking too much for the players to take offense by the a** whippings by the clips over the last few years. I may lose it and if I am forced to watch another lackluster performance and “oh well, just another loss” response.

How many early clock bad shots did he take this year? Or bad offense stopper iso shots. Some of them killing our momentum too. He has to stop, if he isnt shooting well dont take them. No one cares about his points if hes gonna give us inefficient possessions

They miss Schroder's dribble penetration in the starting lineup. LeBron hasn't been finishing around or over people lately, nor has he attacked out of the PnR. As Darius said on the LFR pod, the days of LeBron earning All-NBA honors, as a guard (2019-20), are over. Some of the worst spacing in the league, old legs, and injured or washed PGs is a bad combo for him.

Yes i understand he cant do so much now, but then shoot less. He cares more about getting his than playing within the flow of our offense. There is sequences where we go on a great run, run great plays, then he takes the ball, waves everyone off and airballs. Hed be more efficient if he gets in the post and finds cutters, or cuts himself out of a screen, than to hang around the perimeter. His jump shot isnt helping us so far

If he continues to shoot this poorly from three, which would be bizarre given the last decade of his career, I agree. However, I've watched extended stretches of playmaking result in brick after brick. Only Russ and pace have cracked the code so far.
The implications of poor spacing affect even teams with great shooting/wings.

Wolves with Gobert on the floor: 101.1 OFF RTG (30th), 104.0 DEF RTG (2nd). With Gobert off the floor: 116.2 OFF RTG (3rd), 113.3 DEF RTG (23rd)

Well he is shooting around team average i think, that with being our worst 3pt shooter on most attemps, so there is some efficiency there, he just needs to settle for better shots. Our 3pt percentage minus him is above 30%, and thats with guys like Nunn, Bev, Davis shooting bellow 30%, so we arent as terrible as we seem. Id like to see him shoot 3s within a offense other than jacking up off of bringing the ball up for example. I dont think he has to take 22 shots a game with some of Davis, Westbrook, Walker being on the court at all times with him. He can play more controlled than that

That Gobert stat is really interesting, i thought they wont go anywhere with him at the time of the trade. They will be gpod in RS but in the playoffs it will be Edwards trying tp bail them out again

Maaaannn! I feel ya…wish I could do that because I do think a loss would be better for the team…just can’t tho. Always prefer a Laker win.

Per McTen

LeBron James says rest is the only way to get over his left foot pain, but says that he doesn’t have the luxury to take more time off. He says he will plays tonight against the Clippers.

Per Buha

Lonnie Walker IV was not at shootaround today. He’s questionable for tonight’s game.

That's because we are a bad team and bad teams fold in the 3rd.

Couldn’t agree more…not only has the losing been unbearable it festers a wound with the “ho hum” no big deal perception displayed.

Lonnie Walker IV is out tonight due to his non-COVID illness. He’d been listed as questionable prior to this downgrade.

And they still compete and win games even without Kawhi while the Lakers are struggling with 2 superstars.

Keyword: playoffs. we are about to miss the post season 2 years in a roll, the Clippers have assets to swing for a major trade.
