The Jazz do not appear to be in a real rebuild, if anything they fell into a surprising success so another loss here would not be surprising.

What will be surprising however, is the level of focus and attitude we bring on these road games. If we start to get blown out, there is no hope for the rest of the season and a trade would not alter our course.

LeBron James (left foot soreness) will miss tonight’s game at Utah.

Lonnie Walker IV (Non-COVID illness) is also out, as is Patrick Beverley (Non-COVID illness) for the second straight game.

Anthony Davis (low back tightness) is probable.

This is the game where JTA, Ryan and Reaves just go absolutely bonkers and surprise everyone, right? Right?!

Super short handed today but we should run this lineup:

Wenyen-Damian
AD-JTA
Troy-Matt Ryan
Reaves-Christie
Westbrook-Nunn

We need to run two bigs to start to counter their two bigs of their own.

they might play loose tonight and actually move the ball better without lebron. let's be honest, in the first 9 games of the season, offense looks a lot better with Russ running the show, he got everyone including lebron a lot of easy looks. however, the downside is that we have to live with the turnovers, let's just hope it won't be too many.

AD and LeBron have played very poorly together this season. The net ratings numbers are scary. However, he and Russ have developed some sort of chemistry.

If AD plays, look for this to be closer than you expect.

Can’t blame Russ for LeKlutch and Deputy inability to win games anymore.

Russ is obviously not in the long term plans of the Lakers, but (bleep) boot Klutch and they’re lackey Pelinka too.

There is no point to having this version of Lebron or Deputy Day to Davis. At this point, all the Lakers are is an inflated paycheck for mid and low tier Klutch clients. They are forced to overpay to keep LeGM and AD happy. What’s the point if the star Klutch clients aren’t capable of winning games? This isn’t a just do favors for Klutch for nothing.

(bleep) sick of it all. Get rid of all their asses.

More like Ham resigns before the game.

Let this sink in…

The teams actively trying to tank have better records than the genius LeGM/Pelinka constructed (bleep) of a roster, let’s look at names and just sign all minimums while our supposed “superstars” can’t even dominate inexperienced players and other cast offs on said tanking teams.

So Jeannie's secret formula for replicating Doc's success appears to be hire friends to key brain trust positions and buy name brand recognition at the very peak of the pricing cycle when the product is in decline. Ignore the portfolio mix, make it top heavy. Profit in the short term, but double down on those declining investments until your in the cellar with no end game. I'm glad they're not an investment firm.

We did get a title out of LeBron, that was a huge accomplishment. But seeing this top heavy aging superstar team lay eggs night after night while saddled with this salary structure is just painful.

Loved the defense for 2 games, we're not consistently terrible. I'll be surprised if we don't end up 2-8 after tonight though.

I’ll hope for the best, as always. But that 10 deep lineup is messed up.

Three starters out and Davis limited due to back issues. Likely another long night.

Who knows, it is the NBA where shocking final scores happen all the time. Lakers are overdue for one.

LeBron's out with foot soreness. No shot of winning this one.

he’s out because he needs to take a couple of games off is a better way of saying it.
