“They started telling me about the incident, a shooting involving multiple people,” Brink said Tuesday in an interview outside his San Diego home with CBS 8. “And then I go on to find out it’s a gay bar. I said, ‘God, is he gay?’ I got scared, ‘(bleep), is he gay?’ And he’s not gay, so I said, ‘Phhhewww…’”

Relieved to learn your son ended up being a murderous reaper instead.

Yeah. You can see why he's gutter trash. Look at the source. Thankfully he won't be able to reproduce. Let him and the other inbreds fade into nothingness.

Nothing like compassionate Christians

Quote:
'Reaping the consequences of eternal damnation': Jenna Ellis says Club Q victims are burning in Hell

Jenna Ellis, one of the right-wing lawyers who represented former President Donald Trump in his failed attempts to overturn the 2020 election, proclaimed on Wednesday's edition of The Jenna Ellis Show that the five victims who were murdered in the massacre at Club Q in Colorado Springs, Colorado early Sunday morning are burning in Hell.

"The five people who were killed in the nightclub that night, there is no evidence at all that they were Christians. So assuming that they were not, that they had not accepted the truth of the gospel of Christ and affirmed Jesus Christ as the lord of their life, they are now reaping the consequences of having eternal damnation," Ellis said.

I'm of the mind that if there actually were a place like Hell, it would be the Jenna Ellises of the world who end up there.

Saying that anyone who isn't Christian is going to reap "the consequences of having eternal damnation" is nothing less than hate speech and using one's faith to be divisive.

Some of us have been trying to explain why you can’t reach out to these people. Whether they be obvious rednecks like the shooters dad, or more “professional” MAGA republicans, they are all about tribe and hate, and each and every one of them would be fine with you being shoved into an oven. Not figuratively, but literally.

Geawd, what a C-word. Again, a statement like that from these religulous/supposedly righteous people right after victims were murdered. They get shot to death w/ an AR style weapon and let's say they're eternally damned on top of it. This chic should be dragged into the morgue to witness what that looks like so she can't be as comfy in saying such things w/o the mental imagery. Complete sociopaths and they have no capacity to realize it's them and not the libs/Gen Z/woke/etc/etc. Too bad she wasn't disbarred when the option was there. That's the kind of faceman/woman the Evans have these days. Naked in their hostility, they don't even hide it anymore. These are supposed to be the loving folks w/ moral principles learned via Moses' tablet. Beyond that, she sat there w/o the slightest visible discomfort or irritation as Rudy twice farted. Anyone who does that? Immediate red flag on general principles.

Too wide an umbrella this time, Fernz. Evangelical exceptionalism. So-called... They're worse than the general MAGA fool who hypocritically portrays Jesus-lover sans practicing the other parts of the show (reading Bible, quoting Bible, going to church every Sun, etc). Think Herschel who has been spouting the "glory be to God" crap for decades at every chance and the dude lives like a heathen and probably doesn't go to church. I just saw a YT clip of a 40 yard dash contest between NFLers in the offseason circa mid-late 1980s. I was waiting for the mic to pass to Herschel so he could namedrop Gawd and sure enough. He's been doing that for years, mang. Meanwhile, he calls an actual reverend who lives like one a vampire, a phony: "I dunno what Bible he readin", "He don't do God right", etc. An actual reverend is dismissed by these pukes. Likewise, Jimmy Carter was a REAL Christian unlike Reagan, but he was a Dem, so that doesn't count. Repubs have been pulling that dismissive crap for decades. Obama is a Muslim, etc. Biden being a practicing Catholic generally not being given a peep by the right simply because it's the subject that gets them the least traction as a go-to criticism is about the best a Dem prez can get. They'll never be credited for being a Christian no matter how high up or legit they are and have been for years n years.

Glad the punk got stomped by some fabulous platform heels, at least. A neighbor slash friend of the shooter says the nonbinary act is bunk, btw. Wouldn't doubt it as some kind of feeble attempt to muddy the waters, perhaps make it appear like he was "groomed" into that decision and the shooting was him snapping at the wreck it made his life, who knows.

Thora Birch's parents were both adult actors in the 70s. The much worse thing is having a parent(s) like this degenerate and the next big thing is having parents who stick around and play the part (not letting any past bad decision impact the parent role or at worst being able to compartmentalize the job vs the job at home). If not, the kid may wind up like this one (gay or not) or Christian Walker (not anywhere near as bad as the shooter, but his problem doesn't stem from his sexual identity at all). Many of Christian's problems, and probably many of the shooter's problems, comes from having an absentee lout as a father.

No, that’s a pretty easy study of the history of faith religion if you’re not inculcated by one.

I disagree. If you study the life of Jesus, read about Mother Teresa, talk to the Pope, go on a pilgrimage, listen to imams about what Islam is, speak to the Jewish community, ready the bible or the Koran from cover to cover... I am no sure you'd conclude the essence of faith is hate.

As long as there has been organized religion, faith had been the core tool in using hate as a motivator for divisiveness and violence. That is indisputable to anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of history.

And yet Christian’s and Muslims and almost every other faith have caused more death than all other causes combined. And when you’re deadlier than fights over money or mates, you’re pretty effin deadly. Btw, mother Theresa is revered by Catholics and other westerners (kind of like the British royalty) despite the fact that she musketeers to the suffering, but opposed things that would stop their suffering because she thought it was noble and from god. She was a faith based sadist who sought to make the suffering understand that their suffering was purifying them and bringing them closer to her god. You can have her.

Not all people of faith are evil, but faith itself is a force to divide and control and subjugate people.

I probably have a better command of your holy book than you do, which is why once I got out of the cult, it actually is pretty easy to understand how toxic it is.

Saying that anyone who isn't Christian is going to reap "the consequences of having eternal damnation" is nothing less than hate speech and using one's faith to be divisive.

That’s the essence of faith

lol that's being ignorant.

You could even go a step further and say that religion has been behind most of the atrocities committed throughout history

Religion can be and has been an exciting factor for war. Along with other things like: economic gain, territorial gain, nationalism. Not to mention civil and revolutionary wars.

The woman Tucker brought on is vile. And she doesn't get a pass from me by just blaming her religion.

There are African American women who are Christian, who make up the most consistent voting block for the Democratic party. Hope Reverend Warnock wins. We need that Senate seat.

That’s fair too. There are numerous individuals and groups of people for whom religion is a comfort and a motivator of decency and love. Which has an irony i it given that religious belief is the most powerful catalyst for hate and intolerance outside of (and sometimes super ceding) race.
