This might be the easiest 10 game schedule that the Lakers will have this season. If they will not be .500 after this, I dont think they will the whole season.
@Kings
vs Hornets
@Mavericks
@Magic
@Heat
@Hawks
@Hornets
vs Heat
vs Kings
@Hawks
They need to be 7-3 here to be 0.500 .
These are all winnable games. Too bad AD is injured so it will still be a tough schedule.
Is 7-3 attainable without AD?

I think 6-4 is very attainable. But I am hoping they go 7-3 at least. |

I think they split Heat, Kings, Hawks
So it's the Mavs game that will tell if they can go 7-3 at least. |

Easiest doesn't mean "Easy" lmfao
Compare to there next schedules, this is the easiest. Obviously it is till a grind specialy without AD. |

The Lakers' schedule is pretty manageable until the final days of January.
If everyone steps up, has a positive mindset and sees AD's injury as a challenge to be overcome, perhaps they can win more than half of their games without AD. |

Easiest? We don’t have AD. I all in on the optimism but if we lost every road game it certainly wouldn’t be a shock and I have to assume some of our key guy will load manage at least one roadie.

| With AD, I would say we could go 7-3 or even 8-2 in this stretch. Without him, our more realistic expectations are 6-4 or 5-5. Also not sure how we handle the back to back in Miami regarding resting our guys again. |

I could just as easily predict 3-7 as 7-3.
I will hope they can put forth some good defensive efforts and play efficiently on offense. Not holding my breath. |

This 100%. The Lakers will be lucky to go 3-7 during these 10 games. |

I hope I’m wrong but without AD (and plus no WB/AR?) the next 10 game stretch is 2-10 or 3-9 at best. No way AD is back by Jan 9 and pretty sure LBJ will not play at least one of these as well…..

Dec 27 @Magic - W (1st night of back to back against weaker opponent - maybe no LBJ and might be a loss)

Jan 4 vs Heat - L
Jan 6 vs Hawks - L (either this one or previous Heat game could be a W possibly)

Well, look at the bright side. Pelinka can smile as he reminds himself he has those picks in '27 and '29, and we watch Russ leave (and get nothing in return).

Denver 19-11 is the next game after that which is likely a loss
Comparatively, the Lakers are 13-18 and probably not beating anybody at 500 right now, especially on the road. So, getting Hornets x 2 and Magic are a must and maybe 1 more unexpected wins would be a good outcome?
4W-6L 17-24 on pace for 34 wins which may or may not be enough for a play in...
