So the criteria for clutch is last 5 minutes when leading or down by 5?

How does scoring when you are leading by 5 clutch?

Criteria should be down by 3 or tied under 2 minutes.

example, curry is #1 in clutch player of the year award this season because hes good at daggers, but if you omit the leading by 5 in the criteria, he's abysmal and they lost the majority of it

with leading by 5 criteria:

wl 23-20
156 pts
48.5% fg
41.7% 3fg

with leading by 5 criteria omitted:

wl 7-19
83 pts
53.6% fg
39.4% 3fg

still good % but most of it are losses, is he still considered clutch with that amount of losses

if criteria is trailing by 3 or tied with less than 2 mins :

wl 5-15
32 pts total
48.1% fg
25% 3fg

do you think he still clutch with this criteria?

Curry is good at daggers when they are leading thats why he padded that clutch criteria.. lol

Trailing by 3 or tied with less than 2 mins in the 4th :

Curry

wl 5-15
32 pts total
13/27 fg (48.1%)
3/12 3fg (25%)

Lebron

9-7
13 pts total
6/9 fg (67%)
0/1 3fg (0%)

I think if this is the criteria, bron will be in the discussion, but sadly it isnt.

Curry is the favorite to win it because he's good at daggers (scoring when they are leading) lol.

I couldn’t tell you who the most clutch player in the league is, but I think Dearron Fox has a strong case. We still can’t beat the Kings.

another funny thing about the criteria clutch of including when leading by 5 is

when a player increase their lead from 4 to 6, it is considered clutch, while if a player decrease the lead from 6 to 4, it isn't considered a clutch.

Remember that year when Kobe was hitting all those game winners and all the writers were trying to redefine what clutch meant
