Lakers turned the ball over way too much... But worse was the number of calls or lack thereof for the Lakers. Carter barrelled over Lamar that led to Nenad's tip-in. Kobe barely attempted any free-throws in this game and shot horribly. Brian Cook was pathetic on defense. Lakers should've won this game. I still can't believe the number of calls the Lakers couldn't get.

I just watched the replay. When Lamar cleared out and faded back towards the center, there was clear lane for Kobe to pass and 3 full seconds on the clock. Lamar was waving his arms, but Kobe wasn't even looking in that direction. He had his eyes focused on the rim the whole time.

I knew that was going to happen.

its because of decision like this why he cant win mvp this year, we have lost more close games than we've won...and a lot of those losses can be attributed to our best player making questionable decisions in the last possessions.

Kobe made a stupid decision with the basketball in the closing seconds by wasting time. But then again, the Lakers were just terrible on that last possession. Too much standing around and getting the ball to Kobe late where he has to make a tough shot.

Ugly, Ugly game for the most part. Kobe off shooting night again, so many unforced turnovers...
The season is winding down and we were as rusty as a preseason game.

Horrible, horrible last possession. I can't belive that a Phil Jackson-coached team can do something like that. Every team in the league knows that Kobe will shoot the last shot.

We just couldn't get over the hump. I don't blame Kobe as much as the overall team offensive execution in the 2nd half, including the turnovers. Obviously Kobe had the most turnovers, but we just weren't really executing out there. The team in the 2nd half and the team in the 1st half looked totally different.

Still, we had a chance to win this game, as bad as we played. We need to capitalize on those chances.

It's not the end of the world, but W's are essential right now, at minimum half of the games the rest of the way, and hopefully a little more than that.

just got back from the game...

there were more laker fans than nets fans there. kobe and vc were going at it all night. i think kobe turned it into a personal duel and forced too many shots.
