That's exactly what I was gonna say.
You'll notice that when he does all those high flying dunks he either has a wide open lane or when he beats his opponant off the dribble they dont grab the back of his jersey and the center doesn't come over and hammer him to the floor.
Why? Because the refs used to blow the whistle when Kobe was fouled.

What happened to that Kobe?
He became a Kobe who realized that playing with such reckless abandon takes it's toll on the body. He became a Kobe who's adjusted his game to conserve his health and prolong his career. He became a Kobe who can drop 62 in three quarters, outscoring an entire team. He became a Kobe who can destroy an opponent for 81 points in a game.

yeah, before you couldn't double and triple team him since he had more solid players around him.

This video really makes me optimistic. What is going to happen when other teams are forced to guard Kobe with only 2 guys cause everyone else is producing? This guy is going to go nuts!
