Can he shine in the triangle offense?, or is he a phoenix type of player?. I like what he has to offer. His stregnths seem to fit the triangle.Anyone see him enough to know?

Saw him on ESPN today... he is extremely smart, playes good D (picked the passing lane multiple times) plays well on the post, strong lower body, plays the post and many times played an interchangeable game with the PF (would play great switching with Odom), plays with a lot of energy, thats what caught me, he plays more intense than any Laker, hes a hustle guy, a glue player, an enforcer, we should trade up, even at the cost of Farmar, to get this man, hes one of our missing pieces.

Trading Farmar for a 6'5" SF is just plain nuts.

There are Patterson and Mason, but the 6'5" that can ball at the SF spot is very rare. They can be great in college then go bust NBA at a very high rate.

I would not use the 24th pick on the guy. Maybe he can switch to SG if he developes a perimter game but we already have Kobe and Evans to back him up.

What we need is a 6'7"or taller defensive(read athletic) SF. We could use a two way PF but those will be gone by the Lakers pick.

Having him could also mean Kobe at SF, a.k.a Phil's wet dream.

Kobe at the 3 and Odom at the four is bad for us defensively and on the glass. We need a 6'8 SF with long arms and some athleticism so that Lamar can get some help on the boards and can have some help in the swats department.

Would Phil allow him to eventually start alongside Kobe and say Luke? In theory Luke and Kobe could handle ball-handling, and Tucker could use his strength to overpower most point guards, but for whatever reason Phil doesn't like to start somebody at "PG" who can't handle, even when we have capable initiators on the floor.
