They're not elite yet.. but glad they can play through some tough officiating.. it largely depends on how Kobe handles it or if he fails, how others take initiative to make officiating mean little by making the open shots... |

What a dime by Javaris. His J looked sweet too. Once they get another year under their belt, Critt and Ariza are going to be nasty on the perimeter with Kobe. Let's just hope, by that time, we've moved Lamar for a PF. I don't even want to deal him for Kidd anymore. Just someone like Sheed or JO. _________________ 1949, 1950, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1972, 1980, 1982, 1985, 1987, 1988, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, 2010 |

LOL.. as if only Kobe can pass the ball to Bynum.. others were being perimeter oriented just the same. |

Why because I dont like Kobe? I think he is the most talented player in the game right now.
But I would rather have him try to get Bynum more involved.
Really, its not like Kobe is shooting a high percentage right now like Bynum is.
Bynum deserves the ball more then anyone right now. |

You would trade Lamar for Sheed? Are you serious? I would like Sheed on this team too, but not for Lamar. _________________ Good Laker book I recommend, "The Biggest What-If's in Lakers History" http://www.amazon.com/Biggest-What-Ifs-Angeles-History-ebook/dp/B00BB3OEC0 |

First options will get their shots as the offense is structured to get them shots, especially non-bigmen as they handle the ball.. But I agree, while Kobe has been the main guy looking for Bynum this year, he can get him easy shots even more..
Less threes by Kobe and more playmaking in those situations will make the offense even more potent. |

We gave away a few of games to some undeserving teams (Orlando, New Jersey, Milwaukee, and Battier's miracle 3pt shot with Houston). |

So now its rest and then a game against the Spurs..which will be tough..and on top of that the Lakers head north to the Warriors arena..I hope the Lakers stick with it the entire time while they play at Warriors home...I think they will. |

Really? Pistons certainly would not do it, but I think it would be a good trade for the Lakers. Sheed for Lamar straight up ... hell, yeah.
A front line of Bynum-Sheed-Ariza?
Back to reality, it ain't happening.
Another good team win by the Lakers. Kobe get his 28pts, but we still have 7 in double figures. |

I think we have a decent shot at the Spurs, but it's gonna take another superhuman team effort. Spurs are playing out of their mind right now so I won't be surprised if we lose. |
