Kobe got 10 or 11 assists, when he was passing the ball we had it going, once he became the ball hog we lost. Lamar and Fish shoulda made them FTs man, that woulda been a tied game or we be up by 2 or something.. OHHHHH WOULDA, COULDA, SHOULDA!!!!

Kobe and Odom are just too damn inconsistent.

Kobe has been bad in like 1/3 of games this season. LO has probably been worse.

Odom is on a roll (past 5 games or so) and Kobe slides back into a funk. Hopefully Gasol can show some consistency, but tonight he was bricking too. Bynum is by far our most consistently good (not best) player.

The league is expecting the Lakers to play 4 games in 6 days, that's stupid for any team in the league in my opinion and esspecially on the road, defeats happen, teams learn from it, move onto the Orlando game and prepare for that.

Oh really? I don't remember Kobe demanding the ball, etc. I remember Fisher getting schooled by Lue and Joe getting a star call at the end.

Game is like Detriot, Cleveland, etc. We have the lead in hand and we lose the game on defense.

Worst trade of the century. Kwame Brown would have dropped 40 on the lowly Hawks. Javaris would have contributed 30, minimum, off the bench. Lakers win by 50.

Still a good trade but Gasol isn't going to be the super-duper upgrade that we were hoping either. He's basically a smarter version of Odom with less athletic ability at the 4/5 spot.

Shaq, even in his deteriorated state, will continue to impact the game more than Gasol.

Bynum is our 2nd best player. We need him back. Gasol and Odom are 3rd or 4th, depending on the night. Fisher is 4th or 5th depending on the night.

Hes a major upgrade at the 4 and backup 5. What he isnt is a defensive anchor, and with Kobe's finger the way it is....we have to play good D to win games. Specially against sub par scrappy teams like the Hawks.

Actually they played crap because the match up was not as hype as Kidd and Vince with playing in NJ/NY. Maybe they just relax a little bit. I wouldn't they will kill Orlando on Friday.

Did you figure all that out after two games (back-to-back) from Gasol and zero games from Shaq on his new team? Good job...

christ, kobe's finger killed us tonight. well, what actually really killed us was kobe's refusal to acknowledge that he should stop taking early jump shots because his finger was affecting him. sadly, i was demanding phil put the starters and kobe back in part way through the fourth, and the second unit was actually playing better than the first did through the rest of the quarter.

All that from one subpar game, 2nd night of a back to back, 4th game in 5 nights, 2nd game in a Laker uni??

You mean you need to see more than one sub par game to draw such a conclusion about Gasol?
