Blowout. Two of their players that gave us fits this year, Thomas and Wally, are gone.

Hey ho, let's go
Hey ho, let's go

They're forming in a straight line
They're going through a tight wind
The kids are losing their minds
The Blitzkrieg Bop

They're piling in the back seat
They're generating steam heat
Pulsating to the back beat
The Blitzkrieg Bop.

Hey ho, let's go
Shoot'em in the back now
What they want, I don't know
They're all reved up and ready to go -

The Ramones , Blitzkrieg Bop

R.I.P Joey and Johnny

There always seems to be teams that always give the Lakers trouble. The sonics being one. I think it will be closer than expected but Lakers win.

Lakers also got into Seattle late last night. Hope they come out with energy tonight. These games are really important.

Are we seriously worried about Seattle?

Last time we played them:

-Also the 2nd night of a Back to Back
-Just lost Bynum to Knee Subluxation (demoralized the team)
-No Pau or word of Pau Trade
-Lamar and Luke combined to shoot a WHOPPIN' 4-21
-We were outrebounded 55-45
-They had 5 more OFFENSIVE rebound than us
-They out shot us percentage wise

... and we still won thanks to Kobe.

I don't see this one being close with Pau, emergence of the machine and the momentum of our win streak.

Lakers 124
Sonics 109

This team is depleted after their trade, Lakers win easily. Odom will continue his solid performance with 15 and 11

Hopefully the guys step up after their sloppy first half against the Clippers, and put this one away early.

Hopefully the Lakers come out with the same intensity as if they are playing the champs. Every game counts, no sleeping. I want to see them set the tempo, and control it. Don't let the Sonics get encouraged by playing at a ragged pace.

I'm glad Kurt Thomas isn't there, that should make the Sonics a little less dangerous.

If we win, we stay in 1st place, but if we lose, we drop down to 2nd, and SA moves up.

then I guess winning is the only option. I hope we get a blowout. I love having Kobe on the bench resting. We're gonna need to be fresh come playoff time.

I want Luke to be in foul trouble the entire game so I won't have to see him play a lot. The Lakers better take care of business tonight.
