How can the "best player in the game" make so many mental errors?
Poor decision making. I fail to see how teammates are suppose to be in rhythm when he continually dribbles down the court and jacks up a 21 footer. Happened quite a few times tonight.
Agreed -- the entire 3rd quarter was Kobe against the Bobcats --

They make some skinny little nothing look like a Superstar..down by 15 to a team that has won 19 games..WOW..very very sad..the only one that has bothered to show up is Lamar Odom..everyone else..PATHETIC..take off your jerseys and give it to someone that actually gives a damn about playing
I blame this loss on the interviews that were not only unnecessary but also pure crap. That needs to stop. _________________ "I got a hand that'll rock ya cradle, cream ya like cheese, spread ya on my bagel." - Shaq, 1992.
Finally, we get a combination that works with MBenga and what do you do?, you yank them to put in the same line-up that got us killed. You are a momentum killer!
Another thing, feel free to get off your high chair and contest some of the calls by the refs and even take a tech to save your stars @%^ you gump.
That doesn't excuse Kobe because he was terrible. In fact, Farmar and Fisher needs a plane ticket out of L.A. because they are playing like idiots.
this is a frustrating game, if I was Kobe I would have gone berserk myself _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. Because he is not the best player in the game, never was. People get so orgasmic when they see bryant score 81 or has a streak of 50pt games, they completely gloss over games like today which for him is not uncommon.
Gutless and heartless performance from the team other then Lamar and Kobe (even though he made boneheaded plays all game too - 2 4pt plays!? come on...)

Really? As opposed to the team not showing up for 2 quarters, playing an ugly 3rd quarter of Kobe Ball, and then Phil killing the momentum in the 4th by reinserting the line up that had been losing the game?
I just get tired of seeing this gone on for 3 games straight why cant just play basketballl to start the game effort wasn't decent in half straight up mediocre. Same team that go up 20 against the jazz and mavs have trouble scoring against freaking warriors and bobcats?
Phil better lay the wood on these guys in practice. They have played like crap the last few games. It starts with Kobe. He plays way too passive and by the time he decides to get aggressive, it's the fourth quarter and they have a deficit. It's bad enough he complains for fouls and gets technicals, but his defense the last few games has been noticeably absent. Phil did another piss-poor job with the substitutions and timeout usage. The players certainly did not figure it out on their own tonight. They need to realize the race is tight, they're playing at home, and they're severely undermanned. They have no reason to take games off. That's 3 games in a row where the effort was not there for a full 48+.... except from Lamar, he was balling.

For what? Because Kobe couldn't lead his team tonight?
For stinking up the 4th quarter. I'm not blaming them for the Lakers sucking, but their insistence on sticking it to L.A. in the 4th and making repeated horrendous calls is reprehensible and bush league. If I did that in my job, I'd be fired.
