These are voluntary but it helps your playoff chances and can crystallize your thinking to help game planning.

Please answer the questions concisely, provide depth if it's persuasive and not redundant. You can be as brief as you want or up to two pages and change, just make your case. Please include a link to your team page in the PM, send the writeups to me. Due next wednesday at 10 pm pacific, earlier would help judges out but no points are added or deducted based on when you get it in.

Offense
Dominance - How will you use your most dominant players and the skills of the team around them to exploit mismatches?

Balance - How will you force the defense to pick its poison? How does your starting five fit together as a unit? What are your spacing plans, roster rotation plans, and if you want to go in depth, what system or sets will you use?

Defense
How will your strengths be optimized and your weaknesses covered? How do you handle pick and roll? Are you too dependent on one guy? Talk about schemes if you want to go in depth.

Closing
What's your closing five in the final five minutes? How do you close the game out on both ends?

Judges Questions
Judges may submit questions they’d like GMs to answer in writeups, each team will have 1 maybe 2 questions to address.

Competition
Why you win the division, why you beat the top conference contenders.

Team
Sell it. Concise closing argument. Why you win.

I highly encourage everyone to make a writeup. A lot of these teams are pretty close, and a good writeup can be the difference between the 7-10 seed and a 5th seed.
