Give me a break. You can still play with 5 fouls last I checked. You play to win in 4 quarters, not in OT. You keep your best lineups out on the floor to close games out no matter how many fouls they have.

Why was Bynum on the bench?

Maybe because phil wanted to stick with his squad who won the wcf in crunch time like this game. :shrugs:

Ugly win, but I'll take it.

I love how we hold the Nugs under 100 points and it's considered bad defense.

Wooooohooo!

Definitely wasn't pretty, but I'll take any W on the road we can get. We definitely executed down the stretch and that was the difference.

Terrible shooting: check
Terrible defense: check
Foul trouble all around: check
Quick whistles on us on D: check

We did crush them on the boards, but with Denver playing at home and all of the above working for them they have zero excuse. I guess it won't be as discouraging since we're considered by most to be the favorite, but I wouldn't want to be a Denver fan after that.

Great great win. Bynum plagued all day with foul trouble and Kobe, as usual, comes through when we need him most.

good move by Phil to take out Bynum. Bynum took over only shot in the entire game, Bynum has a been a nonfactor

why is everyone saying we played bad defense? sure we had a couple of breakdowns but we held them to under 100 points. not to mention both vlad and fish/farmar/kobe held melo and iverson to that bad of shooting. bynum controlled the paint somewhat as well.

Lol...he can't shoot if he doesn't get the ball to begin with.

Felt like we were back to the old days:

Losing to a team we should be beating? Check
Scrub from opposing team going off? Check
Opponent getting fastbreak points and free throws? Check
Bunch of Lakers in foul trouble? Check

Anthony Carter had a good game.
20 on 8-9, 6 rebs, 6 asst, played the best defense on Kobe by a Nugget

They were also playing Keliza in the PF position I believe... No way do you want Pau guarding him...

well andrew had 5 fouls. When Drew plays defense he has to back off a bit. And they put lamar for matchup purposes

I don't like the fact that he has to bail us out of a game since we're supposed to be this offensive juggernaught but hey nights like these happen when nothing goes right and you're main guy has to bail you out.

Did Gasol play like crap? He did not receive more than a pair of passes in the 2 final quarters. OK, we won, but I hate the way we did it. We can NOT rely on a single player for 12 minutes!! If , in the third game of the season, when we face our first problem, Phil tells the team "hey, guys, now, errrr, well, Kobe will shoot every shot in the last 12 minutes", then we are in serious trouble. What will we do on the playoffs? Give him the ball to solve a tied game in the last, what, 24 minutes? I´m seriously dissapointed.

How about we give them a week before comparing to past teams shall we?

Only on LG do people complain about Kobe taking over late in the game. Incredible.
