Two from The Color Purple:
1. When Shug and the whole troupe march down to her dad's church and confronts him.
2. When Celie finally meets her kids.

this scene is always difficult for me to watch.

imagine being in a rough neighborhood but still managing to head towards the right direction only to have it all blown away.

Classic. My older brother was STILL finding that scene hilarious almost 20 years later.

Matrix: Fight between Morpheus and Neo, Neo and Trinity saving Morpheus, and Neo's fight against Smith.

LOTR: Boromir's last stand and Gandalf's "death."

Road Trip: The jump scene is hilarious

American Pie: Shannon Elizabeth's bedroom scene

The Patriot: The scene where the young boy is given a gun and ends up walking up on his father violently killing a man with a hatchet.

Christmas Story: "you'll shoot your eye out!" and the tongue on the pole scene.

Tombstone: "I'm your Huckleberry." And the showdown at the OK Corral.

The Unforgiven: The gunfight scene at the end

Gran Torino: The ending which I won't give away for those who haven't seen it.

Opening scene in Saving Private Ryan ........ I thought this was gonna be a crappy movie, but after seeing that one soldier throw up over the side of that U-Boat, I knew it was gonna be a keeper.

Epic and suspenseful. Ingenious cinematography. Possibly one of the most moving scenes of the last decade, if not all time.

LOL! I was thinking of that exact scene as well, but didn't really want to mention it because I was embarrassed that La Bamba is the only movie that makes me cry every damn time.

Bob is a beast!

and as for Malcolm X, it's one of my favorite movies. but i always have trouble watching it to the end. i don't know how anyone could ever take a person like that away from us.
