Wednesday

Should it take a bit longer to clinch the title, the parade could be held Wednesday, June 17th (if they win in five games); Friday the 19th (in six games) or Monday the 22nd (if it takes the full seven games)

Are you guessing, or has that been stated somewhere?

My bad. I started my reply prior to your posting that. Thanks for the 411.

If and when the Lakers win, this would be my first time going to a parade. Do people typically camp out overnight? Just wondering how early people set up for it all.

I went in 02, and showed up nice an early. Maybe about 8 am. Was able to get a nice position. My friend and I managed to get right in front of the crowd but we let a mom and her little boy go in front of us. No need to camp out I'm sure. You'll be able to see everything if you show up early.

they typically show it on espn and other local channels...

as far as camping out, i dont think you can do that (like people do for the rose parade, etc) just show up early and grab a spot and hangout...last time i went in 2000 i just hung out in the parking lot (where la live is located now) and waited on the ceremony to began on the side of staples (where the smokers hangout during the game) but this year it seems that the colisuem is the place to be
