I just like the attitude of your shirt. It's not just 'congratulations, Lakers." This Lakers ring is not the same as the Celtics ring, or San Antonio, or Miami, or Detroit. Nobody gave this to Kobe and the Lakers. We stole it for the Association. We stole it from the mafia, from the godfather. Since 2004, the mafia has been giving the ring to whomever they wanted at gunpoint, by coercion. We stole, we grabbed it, we ran away with it.
That's why your shirt is better. I don't like being a negative person, but what else so exactly describes what Kobe has been through since 2004. if Lebron won, you'd say fine, congratulations, there's no fight there. it's just a gift. But Kobe fought. The Lakers fought. The put together a team that in a fair world would run over the competition in historic domination, and we just barely won the ring because it's NOT a fair world.
So all the haters can look at my shirt and all I will say is, "Yes, I'm talking to you.". |
