We NEED THIS KID.
This guy is 1000000x better then Trasha.
This guy works hard and is actually a pure shooter...
leads the NBA in 3-point shot last year regular season and 47 points to lead the Summer League.
sigh... and he went undrafted too.

He would definitely fit in here. I have seen him play live. Guy's a hardworker and a lights out shooter. Wish we had him instead of Sasha! |

BTW, Morrow lead the league in 3 point percentage as a ROOKIE!
He also had the highest scoring game ever by an undrafted rookie in their first start, scoring 37 points. It wasn't against summer league players either, although it was against the Clippers. It was funny to hear the announcers and the crowd react as it progressed. Who is this guy?

GSW definitely has guys worth having. Good not great athletes, but excellent scoring fundamentals in Morrow and CJ Watson.
I wanted Watson over Morrow.
Excellent demonstration of how basic fundamentals of triple threat positioning, spot up, 1-2 dribble series, pull up, and simple drives make for an effective offensive player. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Coming out of nowhere for the Warriors? Sounds like Sprewell 2.0 maybe without the affinity for windpipe. |

This thread is hilarious. Some guy posts that we need Anthony Morrow - a player who is apparently so well regarded, that the next bundle of posts all ask, "what team does he play for?"
This is freaking hilarious. So it is writting by the OP, so it is true? |

I wouldn't mind an Eddie Johnson II as a Laker.
Or rather, the taller Flip Murray. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Just because one person didn't know where he played for doesn't mean that the rest of us don't. More importantly, it doesn't mean that Morrow isn't the real deal. Numbers don't lie. He was better in his rookie year than Sasha has been at any point in his career.
Lakers have no shot, of course, but it doesn't mean that he wouldn't be nice to have. _________________ Jeffs

No inside game whatsoever. Primary "distributors" are all shoot-first players, and in some cases (Jackson) take lots of ill-advised shots. _________________ Jeffs

As I said in the Randolph thread the Warriors are one of the best teams in the league at discovering talent. Seems like they have a new guy every year that comes out of nowhere and turns out to be a pretty good player. They just need to stop being stupid and put a real team together instead of a collection of guards. |

I was at his 47pt game. Crowd was going wild and wanted him to shoot everytime they got the ball. No surprise, no defence was being played but the dude can shoot. |

Offensively maybe...but still no defense. Which isn't impressive at all. |

But this is possible because of the Warriors offense. Even though the Laker offense is a jump shooting offense, he won't get as many wide open looks because the defense is already set. No doubt, he would help, providing an instant spark off the bench, but with the Warrior offense, the bad things to his game are not as noticeable because of how Golden State plays. Morrow's game is made to thrive in free lance offenses instead of disciplined, executed offenses. |
