Apparently there is more to this story, seems like there was bad blood between Kalib Starnes and the UFC (Dana White). People are saying after Kalib Starnes was injured after his last fight with the UFC and the UFC did not cover his medical bills like they were suppose to. So this was Kalib Starnes revenge.
All I can say is, if this was some sort of protest/statement, if was poorly poorly executed. Especially to do it in front of you home town fans...
I think that will be the last were hear from Kalib Starnes.
That was really a dumb protest by Kalib, very disappointing. Even though he feels that he's being underpaid there are better ways to get embarrassed than running around like a rabbit.
Hilarious!--Didn't see the fights but had read about what happened, good to see the video.
And re: the backstory...if true, I'd think it wasn't so much of a protest as a way of picking up a nice check w/o putting himself at risk of getting hurt again.
