This season is officially a debacle. Countdown to whimpering exit from the playoffs has begun.

Blazers = No Roy, Oden, Pryzbilla, etc., etc., etc.

pretty soon we'll be losing the playoffs on purpose because Dr. Buss wants to dump Phil's contract. It's part of a larger strategy.

this was a big game for the lakers. this young Blazer squad haven't beaten lakers in LA seems forever, and now with is loss, the mystic is gone, they know they have a chance to steal one with Brandon Roy playing in the 1st two games of the 1st round. it was a big game for us and we blew it.

They are going to lose in the first round on purpose because they don't want to play someone in the second round

kobe's last two baskets didn't matter. the game shouldn't have been this close begin with especially w/o Roy. Artest should be put on the post and physically abuse Fernandez and Webster.

WHY? This year the Lakers just aren't that good. This team is just painful to watch! It can't be the loss of Ariza, they just are lacking any sense of ergency. They play defense like they are in Jr. High school. No energy, no effort, missed free throws, miss assignment, miss rebounds, miss shots, = miss the Championship! Maybe a quick exit is what this team needs to make Mitch make moves. I hope for their sake and for all of Lakers fans everywhere that they turn this frown up side down..... but as for now ....they suck!!!!

I know it looks bad right now. I'm going to keep the faith until we're at 100%, Luke and Andrew

Today felt like a combination of stupidity and anti-clutch. Just goes to show you that even if you can make a good end of quarter rally, you're only a couple bad mistakes away from losing it all again.

Kobe and Fisher: 1-4 FT's at the end. Webster: 3-3. WTF????????
It also leads me to the point of why was Webster even fouled? He shot a wild 3, almost expecting some Laker would be dumb enough to foul him. He may not be a veteran, but seems like he knows enough about the Lakers to have guessed right.

I was also amazed Gasol came out to shoot that 3. Could Bryant not get open? Fisher? Odom? Someone who actually makes a few of those shots? I'm not blaming Gasol, it's obvious none of teammates could figure out a way to get to the 3 point line, so he popped out.

When a team chokes this hard, you really have to wonder how they'll react when playoff games with MUCH BIGGER CONSEQUENCES roll around.

Nate McMillan didn't sign his extension either.

Kobe likes Nate... maybe there's something to the Buss strategy here.

It's worked all season, it has a good chance of working again.

Just got back from the game, tough tough loss. However, it was pretty fun as well, especially with Sasha's dunk being the highlight of the game. For the most part, the Staples crowd was dead the 1st half but stepped up their noise in the 2nd half. It definitely felt like a playoff game, pretty darn intense.

Despite the loss and the headaches that resulted from Fish trying to guard Miller, I'll continue to have faith in this team until the end.
